I have been insuring my car’s here for many years.it’s been a real pleasure to deal with the staff who have been friendly, efficient and helpful. But, Drayton then got taken over. Prices increased dramatically and I was able to get same policies with the usual top insurers at dramatically less cost. What a pity, I relied on them.
I made a claim for a damaged wall caused by a local building company who went out of business , waited 3 months for an engineer to visit, waited another 3 months for a decision…..but no word whatsoever. Perhaps they are hoping i will go away? Be careful who you insure with, and check who your contractor insures with, because if it is Drayton Insurance, then you could be in trouble!

Hands down the poorest service known to man. I have rang and been awaiting a quote from Tony Bell for over 2 weeks. Tony Bell has promised to call me back at least 10-15 times and not once actually called me back. I'm looking for insurance for a £160k vehicle, with 2 more on the way. This guy seems completely inept of the idea of customer service, how he has and remains in a job is quite frankly insane. This guy could have easily had 30k worth of business from me but lost it all due to his lack of customer service and sheer incompetence. Please review the amount of times I have called, the answers and arrogance I have been wet with from Tony, download it and show it to all future colleagues of exactly how NOT to be at work. Simply Pathetic.

So sad to say this but, have been a loyal customer for years and never questioned renewal as I felt it was good value. This year, however I spotted the admin fee had increased by 250% (£10 to £35). I questioned this but wasn't happy with the explanations. Decided to get quotes online and saved ~£80 total.
Insurance is a necessary evil. I favour this place though,the staff are always friendly and professional. They answer the phone quickly too.
Its great to have an insurance broker as you get more independent advice. The team at Drayton are great to deal with. Have not bought insurance from anywhere else for many years
