I can highly recommend the salon. I've been using the salon for three years and this is the best salon I've ever been to. I always ask for advice on what my hair needs when I arrive and Sam is so attentive in explaining everything she thinks would be best on the day. I am always extremely happy with the way she colours, cuts and styles my hair. I will never use another salon as this is by far the best in town. If I could give 6 stars it would be well deserved.

Unfortunately had a very bad experience here with Vicky. I had called before and discussed my hair condition approx. 3 month grow out, products used ect. I booked to have a full head of highlights and lowlights, we had a brief consultation regarding what I wanted where my hair was at, I said I would like my root colour as the lowlight to soften the band growth and for the blonde to be cleaner, a dimensional colour, but i asked for stylists advice she called over another stylist asked her opinion on the level to use for my lowlight and asked what I thought about her hair I said it was nice (never once said I wanted it the same), before I could show any inspiration photos she was gone mixing colour and bleach. The foils where applied quickly which I did comment on, she cut another ladies hair whilst i processed. Afterwards she checked the foils and we headed to the sink, the wash was lovely, she didnt apply toner which I thought was strange, she had cut it, she rough blow dried my hair and briefly ran a round brush through and straightened my hair initially it looked better as the hard contract was gone. I went home and noticed that around my hairline was not tight to the roots and the placement was off and the highlights and lowlights were super chunky, I went through the next day styled as usual to try and get used to it, but you could clearly see it wasnt right. I sectioned through my hair and looked through the back and I was horrified my hair is patchy, stripey, the lowlights have a reddish hue and looks awful 2/3rds of my hair havent been touched and parts where highlights were applied are uneven and not natural, I cannot side part my hair or where it up in certain ways. I decided to message the salon and explained I wasnt happy and showed photos, they were to start with trying to help and have me come back to try and see what they could do for me but it was unrealistic for me with work to get time off at short notice, they then offered alternatives still not appropriate, I gave them my work pattern to try and accommodate but was then deferred with ''Can you please forward your telephone number so Vicky can contact you as all hairdressers are self employed and run there own businesses. She will then be able to advise you as all options I’ve offered don’t suit you currently." Then "I will give Vicky your number so she can communicate directly with you to make it easier for you to organise a time and date to suit you best." All promising up until I spoke with Vicky herself, who I would describe as defensive, rude, disrespectful, unprofessional and arrogant is what I can describe the conversation. I relayed the information to her from the salon chat. To just add here that I am a qualified hairdresser to level 3 but not practicing only providing a service for family and this was brought to conversation telling me I should know the process "as a trained hairdresser you would know that a red undertone has to be added to blonde to avoid khaki tones which is why we added chocolate to the base." "Your photos show me you sectioning your hair in different uneven sections to how the foils were applied. If you would like to come into the salon tomorrow I will be there between 9.30-5pm and the same hours on Wednesday." At this point I was so upset, I should feel confident to where my hair in all directions, up, down different pairings and it look good, I asked for a refund and she told me I was only going to be receiving £45, she deducted the cut and a blowdry if you can call it that. I paid £75 and I look worse that when I went in, I feel conned and insulted. Vicky took it upon herself to cancel my future appointment with a different stylist, essentially blacklisting me from the salon. I now have to go somewhere else for them to fix the horrendous service which is claimed to be a full head of highlights.
