As soon as i made a claim, they wriggled out of it on the basis of a photo. Although it was 'small minor damage caused by everyday motoring and could be repaired using minor cosmetic repair techniques'. Never again, Waste of time and waste of money,
Staff very professional and helpful, explained how the policy worked. No heavy handed sales at all.
Tried to get a quote for life insurance, called me back to explain, went through all the info and seemed very professional at first. Then when I was informed about payments they advised me it went up every year, seemed a little dodgy to me, so asked them to send me all the information out so I could have a read, he then hung up on me!!! Dont take any policy out with these would be my advice.
Poor service from Smart Insurance & their repair company Shine, although they agreed to repair my Lexus, their contractor failed to contact me, resulting in me employing another company to complete the work. After cancelling the policy, my pro rata refund failed to appear in my bank account until a further call had been made 7 days later. Be assured they will take your money instantaneously........getting it back following unacceptable service is another matter !
AVOID AVOID AVOID. My partner took out a policy with this company to cover accidental damage to her new car. When we came to claim on this for some small scratches they have been very difficult. Firsty they say they cant carry out the repair as there isnt off road patking. SO DONT USE THESE IF YOU HAVEN'T GOT A DRIVEWAY. webt back to them with an address with a drive and they then said they couldn't do it there either as its sloped THIS COMPANY ARE A SHAMBLES. We will be speaking to the financial conduct authority and the ombudsman as the insurance has been missold. I have gone through all the paperwork and at no point does it mention any conditions re off road parking or their inability to operate on a slope Like so many insurance companies they will try everything to not pay your claim. AGAIN .. AVOID THESE GUYS !!!!!!
