I had a great experience today with Nelly who sorted my BIIB nails even though they were done elsewhere. Great attention to details and she was very kind not to overcharge me even when I had infills and some were fully out. Happy with the outcome and colour :)
This was my first ever time getting nails and I enjoyed it alot! The staff were very nice and the work they did was extremely impressive! I would definitely recommend this place!! Can’t wait to go back!
I have been going to Crown for almost one year now and have yet to be disappointed! The staff are so friendly and happy to listen, I’ve changed my mind on shape, colour and design during the process and they have been more than happy to accommodate. They want their customers to leave with a smile and I always do! Here is a selection of my nails by crown over the last year!
AWFUL!!!! Walked out in the middle of my appointment today! Girl had no clue what she was doing! Glued my skin for the nail, left two nails extremely uneven, had to take off THREE nails when putting acrylic base on and redo them till she got them “right”, made them TWICE as THICK then any other place ever did, then 2nd stuff member saw she was struggling and took over, who then took 70 mins to just finish HALF OF THE JOB before i had enough and walked out. UNBELIEVABLY RUDE AND ARGUMENTATIVE! No apology, no nothing! Disgusting!
Decided to use this nail salon today due to fairly favourable reviews and good pictures of nails with more complex designs. When I went in I was served very quickly by a member of staff and showed them my design. The 1st staff began to do my nails, however despite me trying my best to describe what I wanted as simply as possible the 1st member of staff did not understand what I wanted. A 2nd member of staff started to do my nails and understood a bit better however I noticed that the salon workers were using a lot of tricks that speed the process up but can lead to damaged natural nails and poor final results. When I pointed these things out such as having the nail extension not lining up to my natural nail, and not removing the cuticle before applying the product to the nails (both of which can shorten the span in which the nails stay on), I was then asked by the staff member if I had had my nails done before, when I responded that I had he informed me that he had been doing nails 6 years and I didn't know what I was talking about. I then had another staff member come to do my nails who tried to do a 3D heart design that I had done previously by another nail artist, however when he was struggling to execute this design I explained that my previous nail artist had used a gel top coat and built up the design as opposed to using nail glue as he was trying to do it with. He then very rudely told me that he knew what he was doing and can tell that they had used glue by looking at the picture despite me telling him that that was not the case! By the end the 3rd member of staff to work on me said that he can't do anything else for me and if I dont like it I can take it off. At this point I as so frustrated and upset by the rude treatment I had received by the staff that I burst into tears. I decided to stop the appointment then because I had had enough and just wanted to leave. I was told my nails should be £50 but because they had upset me they would lower it to £40. I paid and left but after that experience I cannot reccomend for anyone to go to this salon unless you just want very simple design with a lower quality finish.
New to the area and so this was my first time using here, which I was getting my nails done for my sister in laws wedding. They did a fantastic job, and the best French tip I’ve ever had!
Very happy and pleased with my nails and the staff were very pleasant I shall be back again soon
Tried this nail salon for the first time today. I was a little nervous as my anxiety can make new places difficult for me, but everyone in there was so friendly and patient. The tech that did my nails did an amazing job. I gave him a reference photo and he asked if he could switch it up a bit so I agreed and the end result was 10 times better than the reference photo. You could really tell how much care was put into these nails. I left extremely satisfied and I’ll definitely be coming back for another gorgeous set of nails when I have the money to treat myself again. Thank you so much Crown Nails team!! :)
