   I was recommended Emerald Vets when I first moved to Llanelli area, so pleased I registered my boy started to become unwell the vets spent hours with him sadly he got worse. He was actually being seen by Thomas and he could not do enough for Sky, but sadly at the end there was no more that could be done for him I took him home with pain killers and lost him early the following morning. Could not thank them enough for the care they gave my dog and also ensuring that I was ok and how I was coping highly highly recommend Brian and Thomas and their great team

   Fabulous vet practice! Brian and his team are excellent with our dogs and all other animals. None of this treatment for the sake of it at this practice. They really care about their patients and it shows. They're extremely popular and people travel from far and wide to bring their pets. They operate an appointment system, but will always try and fit you in for an urgent case - even if you have to sit and wait for a while.

   First time we've had to use emergency vet after our puppy ate something he shouldn't have, and we were probably being overly cautious. Nurse was lovely and reassuring, we were relieved we didn't have to worry overnight or risk serious side symptoms. Did need to leave a voice mail (normal for outside of normal hours) so we also called an emergency vet in Swansea. It would have cost £270 just to be seen, plus a long wait in the hot weather, plus medication on top. We paid less than half that.

   Brian Cotter is a very experienced vet who is devoted to his work. Having had show dogs for nearly 50 years we are extremely fussy over our choice of vet and Brian ticks all the boxes. Recommend him wholeheartedly.
