   Fancy something different from the 'normal' ? Give this shop a try. A wide range of beers that you won't be familiar with and worthy of trying. Also, prices are much better than supermarkets. Cans of beer are either close to Best Before Date or just after, but I've never had a bad beer yet. Also wide range of wines available but I always get distracted by the beers on offer and try a sample of 2 or 3 different types.

   Ordered some draught beers and wines. Tried one of the beers and it was totally flat with a bad taste. Not holding out much hope for the wines. Nice idea but not sure mail order draught beer works.

   Have been using their delivery service ( same day) since first lockdown. Never been disappointed. I usually order a mystery box and we look forward to discovering the wines Matt and his colleagues have chosen for us! Have recommended friends and family and good to see they’ve also posted positive reviews independently.

It feels good to support a local business and when that business provides excellent service and a great variety of wines and beers it is even better. The team at the Smiling Grape are always welcoming, cheerful, helpful and obviously knowledgeable. We have had no hesitation in recommending them to family and friends and will continue to do so. If there were more stars to give we would happily do so.

   We decided to support a local business rather than another online massive wine warehouse where every bottle repeats itself after a few months. And are we glad we did! We've ever had a bad bottle and Matt is always ready to offer some great advice on pairing wines. The flexibility to switch from reds to whites, or order pairs of bottles is great too! Naked who?
