   Very friendly salon stylists and apprentices lovely. In terms of what I’d asked for and spent time emailing pictures it’s not what I’d asked for. I ended up with a poodle perm all over. As I sat in reception waiting for my lift customers and other stylists were sympathising with me and advising me how in time my hair would drop and look better. I wasn’t listened to and the lady who was responsible talked at me for three hours. She didn’t know my name or anything about me. I and the apprentice glazed over. I left with saturated clothes from washing, freezing cold and bad hair. I believe this salon trades on regular customers but is lacking on bringing itself to become current. Again if asked at the time of leaving what I thought I would have voiced my opinion and had a conversation. My choice of choosing local ended up as a very bad decision.

   After getting my wig from here last year (which I found so hard but was made to feel at ease and comfortable) I returned today to have my wig looked at. I was received with a lovely welcome and made to feel at ease, I was given the option to go to a different room if I wanted to. This was a lovely gesture as sometimes I’m really self conscious with out my wig. After a steam and a trim my wig looked so healthy, like new again. I can’t thank you for everything that you’ve done, I can finally smile and comfortable with wearing my wig again.

   Called to book for trim, shampoo and blow dry. First told receptionist do not, repeat DO NOT blow dry my hair straight. Supposed stylist,? washed my hair with very very little rigor to head, did not feel hands massaging scalp. Had requested my color rinse be applied. This is normally done at hand basin, applied combed through and left on. He insisted it be done while getting hair done in chair. He put very very little on top of head and of course that made no difference. Then gets a wire brush and proceeds to blow it straight as a poker. No wrist movement with brush to give hair some curve. If this supposed to be a hair stylist wonder where he trained, Disney Land. First and last time here. Had reservations going as reviews were for wigs, not hair styling.

   New to Wem hairdressers and suffering pandemic hair crisis. Messaged on facebook to ask if they had a slot today - Gemini acknowledged and got back with 2 options within an hour. Had a lovely chat and a great wash, cut & blow dry from Mandy. Reasonable price too! Thanks Team Gemini.

   Following illness, I lost a significant amount of hair and decided to opt for a wig. I was a frequent client of Gemini and knew of their wig service. Helen spent hours with me choosing the right colour and style of wig. It renewed my confidence in my appearance and my mum said I looked 20 years younger with it on! True testament. Would highly recommend.
