I've been looking for a hairdresser for ages and so many people reccomended Spires I thought I would book myself in. My appointment was for 9.15am staff turned up at nearly 9.25 so i was left waiting in the rain on the doorstep, not the end of the world though. I went straight in and was taken to have my hair washed, unfortunately there was no hot water (you'd think knowing you have a client in you would make sure you are prepared enough to at least have hot water). I was offered a drink whilst I waited 25 minutes for the water heater to heat up, again not the end of the world but the cup had marks on the top which was another indication that things weren't quite as I expected, further emphasised by the towels used on me smelling musty. When I was having my hair cut I didn't feel like the hairdresser was particularly experienced. Silly little things like not showing me the back of my hair once she finished and while had a fringe put in, instead of making it look perfect and actually finishing the cut and style, she just said it would be better once I washed it at home myself. To wait as long as I did to then experience that really let this salon down for me. I came in to relax and be pampered unfortunately this wasn't the case. After washing my hair, drying and straightening it myself this evening, I can see that it really isnt what I was hoping for, which is such a shame because overal the girls in the salon were lovely.
Well deserved best in Midlands award! Amazing team so tentative to the clients, myself entering as a new client i spent almost a full day in getting my hair fixed from a box dye mishap and Kim managed to get my hair to the desired colour. Kim was brilliant, advised me of every process (which is so helpful when your new in the salon) everyone working there was polite, friendly and helpful. Beautiful clean and well presented salon. I cant wait to become a regular at this salon, thank you Spires!
The most amazing salon around, i could not be happier with my hair and extensions, they are incredible. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Trust is massive with your hairdresser and these lot at Spires give you just that. So happy thank you so much x
Beautiful salon always fresh and welcoming. Their colour range is vast and always up to date with the latest products. I travel 100 miles to get my hair coloured because I know it will always be right!! Thanks to Chris and the Spires team
Kim is amazing, so nice and genuine. Always gets my hair perfect. Really can’t recommend her highly enough! She has been doing my hair for a around a year now and at the beginning salvaged my hair from another local ‘salon’. Wouldn’t ever want to swap. Just a nice down to earth down to early friendly girl.
