Jasmine (our greyhound) has boarded with Jon and Minty three times now. Each time we have used their pet taxi service, which has been super convenient; we've essentially met in the middle between their house and ours. The last stay, at our meeting point, Jasmine was so very excited to see Jon, she couldn't wait to jump into his car! It was so lovely to see that she was clearly looking forward to a holiday and adventures of her own. It made/makes leaving her so much easier. Jon is highly experienced in caring for sighthounds. Jasmine can get overstimulated when meeting new dogs. He has successfully introduced her to his own dogs and other boarders, with patience and care, which has been really beneficial to Jasmine. We love that Jasmine gets to spend time lounging with other dogs, as she's the only dog in our household. Jon and Minty communicate regularly when Jasmine is staying with them, sending daily updates and photos of Jasmine out on her walks and lounging around, which is very reassuring. It's nice to see what she is up to, as we inevitably miss her while we're away. She loves her walks and Jon and Minty put a lot of effort into this aspect of her stays, she has been to beaches, woodlands and even the Botanical Garden of Wales! The dogs often take over their sofas, and the garden is also a beautiful space for the greyhounds to relax in when the sun is shining. The last time we collected Jasmine, while she was glad to see us, she actually had to think twice about jumping in the car with us! She must have really enjoyed the mental enrichment of her stay at HMSH... and all the cwtches she got from Jon and Minty. We highly recommend their home boarding service. They deliver such a high-standard of expertise and care. We have every confidence when Jasmine stays with them that she will be very well cared for and very much loved. Thank you for offering us peace of mind for our holidays ... we very much appreciate you Jon and Minty.

Our two whippets have just spent four days at Hound Minded Sighthound Hotel and I can honestly say it was a fantastic experience (for the dogs and us!) We were really anxious beforehand about having to board them for the first time ever, but Jon and Minty's genuine care and dedication really shone through from the minute we dropped them off. They took time to understand the dogs needs and preferences and it was clear that they had lots of experience with sighthounds which immediately put our minds at ease. We received daily updates and photos which was a lovely touch and so reassuring for us. It was clear that the dogs weren't missing us one bit! They had regular, varied walks and it was so great to see how much they were enjoying their stay. Jon and Minty's commitment to keeping us informed really allowed us to enjoy our time away without worrying about the dogs too much at all. We couldn't be happier with the service provided. Our dogs were so happy during their stay and it was such a positive, stress-free experience. Minty and Jon were absolutely fab with our two boys. One of our dogs can be anxious around new people but he took to them straight away which gave us reassurance they would be well looked after. Other reviews have said it’s a home from home for sighthounds and it really is. They take time before the stay to understand your dogs routine and any little quirks they may have. They provided us with lots of lovely updates of walks and sofa cuddles. We would definitely use them again in the future.
