First to me using any Kennels for our two labs. Both dogs loves their time at Four Paws and we've booked their next stay.

Our dogs live it here. They cater for single days to overnighters and holidays. Individual, heated floor booths, with access to paddocks. The dogs are walked regularly throughout the day. Your dog will love it.

Bruno has been very well looked after at The Four Paws, he came home tired and happy, he can be an anxious dog at times so it was good to know he’s made friends and played. Thank you!

Absolutely love Four Paws. I feel so confident leaving my sausage dog here I know he is well looked after and comfortable. And when I pick him up he smells absolutely divine after the team have given him a little spritz of doggy deodorant! 10/10 love this place!

Don't take the risk. Genuinely cannot believe that this place is still receiving custom. Our family dog was absolutely terrified and disengaged on pickup after his day here. He still flinches when I try to touch his legs. God knows what happened here, but you would expect them to be taken care of whilst under the care of the pet hotel. Looks like we're not the only ones, too. I would go as far as to say that our puppy came away traumatised, whereas with other daycares he has always come home happy and with tail wagging to see me. David, the taller staff member, was awful at dealing with our puppy and kept trying to make us feel like we'd somehow not trained him enough. Safe to say that's rubbish as our pup has since had a fantastic time at other day cares and is well beyond his age in terms of training and behaviour. Regardless, I will not be returning to this pet hotel. Maybe you'll be alright if you have a dog that goes unphased, since I suspect that something happened during my pup's time here that I imagine will now cost us a fair few £ in behavioural training and recovery. Obviously posted under a pseudonym due to these people having my home address etc.

Really knowledgeable and caring owners. Great with all breeds. Relaxed and immaculately clean and tidy. My dog lives his holidays here.

I have just spoken to the owner of this business and I have to say I am in shock and completely disgusted by his attitude!! I wish I had read the reviews before calling now!! I have a 2.5 yr old GS x Husky who has been going to kennels since he was 12mths old. Unfortunately due to the cost of fuel and my amazing kennels being quite a drive away I was looking for somewhere closer to home. This place is literally a 2 min drive away!! Straight away he told me, they would not take GS or Husky and ESPECIALLY a mix of the breeds!! Apparently they are too aggressive and try to guard the place!! From his experience?!?! Well I can assure you I have NEVER heard this from my current kennels!! This man is AWFUL and I would NOT recommend leaving your fur babies with him!!!

I arrived for a trial visit this week as requested on arrival I was told I was late I then parked and made my way to reception with my dog then I was asked if I had completed forms I had not so had to fill them in the car and I was asked to take my dog with me I returned with the forms no affection shown towards my dog I was ushered through to the kennels with my dog he was quickly put into a kennel all the while no interaction with him I actually thought I would then be shown all facilities but was not I was told to return two hours later to then be told my dog had been barking and whining the whole time and that he was upsetting the other dogs therefor he was rejected I have never encountered this hostility at an other kennel even if my 3yr old lab did bark its a strange place in more ways than one!!!! Save yourself the trouble there is a 5***** rated kennel on outskirts of Faringdon where you will receive a very warm welcome at anytime without appointment

After coming highly recommended by numerous people I was excited to come and have a look around and to arrange for my dog to stay there. After receiving a phone call, I was asked what breed of dog I had, to have them say "we don't accept any breed of shepherd as we have found them to be very guarding". Please note that the gentlemen said this was decided after an incident 8 years ago! Not even recently. Its horrible thay they decide this without actually meeting the dog. I am happy not to be sending my dog there after reading the reviews. No mention that they don't take certain breeds on the website. I am absolutely appalled.

Our dogs are 13, 11 and 5 and, after using the same kennels all their lives, we had to make a change after that business closed. We found Four Paws as a fairly close alternative and the team initially asked that our boys went to them for a morning for a try out which we found very reassuring. They have now had several stays and we couldn’t be happier as they have all come home looking as happy and healthy as ever. The team are friendly and responsive and have been very helpful when one or more of the boys have been on some medication. The facilities are excellent and pricing is reasonable. Leaving your dogs in the care of someone new is always hard but we have felt fully confident that they have been in a professional and caring environment. Overall, we are delighted to have discovered Four Paws and know that we have a safe and reliable place where our boys will be looked after while we are away.
