Staff couldnt have tried harder. Really attentive and helpful. Faded dated boarding house but comfortable enough and had everything would expect. Could walk to station/town centre. Parking spaces available.
I booked a room for a chap and his beloved dog doing a charitable walk. Spoke to Otta and paid on the phone. She was very friendly and was happy to take the dog. Can't comment on the room as it wasn't me staying, but she was lovely on the phone. Very reasonably priced too.
A good, budget guesthouse. Clean, with a friendly host and good breakfasts. Great value for money and well positioned for railway, sea and shops.
The rooms are OK. And the showers are the same. Not expecting 5 star but it is cosy. Everything is clean and kept well. The rooms are slightly outdated but have recently been "trendied" up with new furnishings. The beds are old spring mattresses with OK pillows and covers. The heating works and Wi-Fi is not so great unless you're in the common room. Breakfast is decent but again not a 5 star. Bring the family over as there are rooms for families as well. Friendly staff and nice location. 10 minutes walk from an ASDA and a town mall.
It's difficult to rate this place. Room was clean and smelling nicely. Toilet clean but hot water pressure was various. The breakfast was a disappointment. Lack of choices from a cold breakfast, lack of tables (if you come later you'll have to wait on the sofa for your place at the table), quite long awaiting for a hot breakfast and you can get 1 sausage + 1 egg of your choice + 1 slice of beacon + beans + canned tomatoes??? don't ask why not fresh or roasted. Generally a place fine to stay for a short break. Honestly next time I'll consider paying a bit more for a room in Swansea than in Llanelli where is not too much to do and the see disappears totally twice a day.
