   Highly recommended! I’m fairly new to the area and was looking for a new barber. After searching and checking the reviews, i came across The Handsome House. I messaged Clare around December 2023, as I was worried about going to a new barber (as I’ve always been to one barber for many years). She reassured me and advised me to select Skin fade & Beard trim. Unfortunately Clare had to cancel and messaged me to apologise. In the meantime I tried somewhere else but wasn’t happy with how they were cutting my hair. I eventually booked an appointment with Clare again. Initially I was nervous, but the reviews and pictures look very reasonable, but the nervous soon went away as we both got chatting away (apologises for my strong accent Clare!). I have to admit Clare is a perfectionist as she wanted to get my hair and beard done very similar & better to how my previous barber done it, and requested if she could message my old barber and ask how he done mine. Overall, my hair and beard look very good, happy with how it has turned out, so will definitely be booking in again. Shop is based in a town and I managed to get parking outside the shop luckily, which is an hour only I believe. Very reasonably priced.

   Visited for the first time yesterday. So impressed. The best haircut I’ve ever had. Claire did exactly what I asked and it’s faultless. As an added bonus, Claire is such a nice person and genuinely takes an interest in you and your needs. Now my “go to” hairdresser for future cuts. Thanks Claire 10/10

   Really really good barbers! 2nd time my Dad has been and both appointments with Claire have been great, he’s 73 and he comes back looking 20 years younger. He lives in Bristol but refuses to use any barbers there he just waits until he can visit us and get an appointment with Claire. They get booked up quick but shows how good Claire is and it’s worth the wait.
