My Grandsons love this soft play. Two hours of fun and joy for them and two hours of (relative) peace for the weary Grandparents! Very reasonably priced, clean and safe. What a great asset to have on the doorstep.

For the last 2 1/2 years since my daughter was 6 months old and now with my son we are regulars especially in the winter months. It’s a great play area large enough to offer plenty of entertainment for children but not too big that you can lose your children when playing independently. A positive to the play area is that it’s right in the centre so you can walk 360 degrees around the frame keeping an eye on your little ones. Food and drink options are adequate and fairly priced. Chicken nuggets are really good. Toilets are clean and functional and staff are approachable and polite. Only reason to take off a star is due to the play area being quite worn in places wear the fabric is splitting. In a number of areas instead of it being repaired properly they have duct taped the splits and holes together which doesn’t really hold, a bit of an eyesore and ends up sticking to children. I would definitely recommend to friends and family as it’s a great location despite being very worn. Pricing is exceptional compared to other soft plays in the local area.

Visited on Saturday 12th October for the 12:30 pm session with our 2 grandchildren 7 and 5 year old boys. Plenty of tables and to be fair it is quite large area (see photographs). You do have to book online and there is plenty of parking spaces. the parking cost £5 and adults have to pay £2 to go in too?? So it basically what you expect, lots of kids running through the various levels and mazey play area, shouting, screaming and kids having a good time. What we didnt like is there should be more staff presence as there were many older children playing and running around (some at least 13), these should not be allowed to run around as there are many, many toddlers who could easily be knocked over so supervising your little ones is advisable, but kids make friends easly and our boys had a wonderful time and running around for 2 hours wore them out. I would strongly advise you take your children`s drinks and snacks as the prices here are like Fortnum and Mason. 1Small fruit shoot and 2 small packets of crisps was £4.50 and the doughnuts £2.50 each!!! some of the ball pit toys are well worn and require replacement and the plastic balls require topping up as there are about 20 balls left!! The toilets are relatively clean and i dont like the fact adults can go and get hot drinks and be able to carry them to their tables. These hot drinks should be served in cups with lids to avoid the obvious risk of scalding children. So overall, the tickets for 2 adults and 2 children was £16 and a further £15 for a couple of drinks and snacks ( so take your own). A good place to tire the kids out for a couple of hours.

My son loves this place, lots of play on for the size. Good selection of kids lunches and snacks and drinks. My son always sleeps well after a play here

Excellent indoor play area within Wicksteed park. Good array of play equipment on several levels and great slides!. Only gripe would be food is very slow and limited selection so be prepared for a wait.

Nice soft play, but worth noting they don't give free parking during school holidays. Parking will cost you an additional £3 (for 2 hours) or more.

Had a really good time here with my daughter. I visit these type of soft play areas quite often and I would say this is one of the best. I would avoid it on a hot day though as there's no air con and can get quite warm in there.

My children love this place, always have a great time. It's better for them in some ways as its smaller than other soft plays. A plus for me is a feel confident taking the 2 of them (under 5) by myself as it's not as large as other local soft plays. I wouldn't recommend for slightly older children. The negatives for me, hence not 5 stars- It seems a bit dirty now. They're not fab at keeping the tables and surrounding areas cleaned up. The toilets are abysmal. The loo roll dispensers often break off the paper too soon meaning you cant reach the next piece to get any out. The last time I visited this was the case in all of the lady's loos and to top it off, none of them were flushing. I did bring it up with Wicksteed and they said they would investigate. There is an area that is meant for smaller children. However, constantly has bigger kids running and jumping all over it meaning I have to guard our 18 month old like a hawk. It is not well enough "separated / barriered" as such. Parking is included when you visit, not well enough publicised and you have to ask on leaving to get a validated ticket, how many forget? Also, as an annual wristband holder for Wicksteed Park - sometimes we get a discounted price for entry and sometimes we don't. They change their story all of the time which is frustrating!
