Not much happening there now although the house still looks regal and gives up some good photo opportunities even though it looks a bit sorry now. The walked garden is quite nice. Cafe on site looked clean and tidy although I didn't go in.

We love visiting Moggerhanger Park! Beautiful scenery, places to park and a lovely little area. If you're visiting there is a tea room which is open on some days of the week. A lovely place for a walk at the weekend with plenty benches, so can be enjoyed by all. I regularly go with my grandfather!

On arrival we were welcomed by a lovely lady who showed us to our room in this fabulous old manor house offering us country side views. Rooms are very clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are convenient shops nearby and many pubs serving food within a few miles. The Five Bells in Henlow comes highly recommended. The grounds are beautiful and surrounding areas outstanding. We were so happy to find this rare gem. We will be back on our next visit to Bedfordshire for sure.

This place is really difficult to review. First off , some details. Tours are usually available only on Sundays and Wednesdays and are booked through the website. Historic house members go free. Otherwise adults are Β£10. The house was designed by sir John soanes, one of only a couple still standing. For that reason, this grade 1 listed building is of historical importance. However if you are expecting plush interior fittings , then you will be disappointed. The majority of the rooms are an architectural shell. Now the tour is informative , the guide was enthusiastic but the frustration he felt about lack of funding, and vision for this great building was clear. There is so much that this place could be used for and the fact some rooms are now a bed and breakfast may help raise some funds to do what needs to be done. Overall an interesting , sometimes inspirational, sometimes a slightly depressing experience.

Moggerhanger is a very interesting, historical place and there’s lots of information available about the building. Grounds are beautiful, especially as spring blooms. Worth a visit.

Lovely historic building with amazing rooms, the history breathes out of the walls but with some modern amenities. Every room has an amazing view and the building is a great venue to host a meeting. Amazing cafe for afternoon tea and a little park for the kids.

Pleasant walk with a nice cafe but the grounds are not as extensive as expected from the details provided. Nice for a local walk or a cafe to pop to. Not a place to travel any real distance to. House is not accessible to the public.

Great location 100 acres of land and house is very nice. Sam the manager is great as are all the staff I met. Very welcoming to dod too which is very important to me as my dog travels with me everywhere. The shower in my room had poor water pressure which was a shame otherwise I would have rated 5 stars but other than this I could not fault the place at all. The breakfast was good and the pub is only 3 minutes by car which was nice too and recommended by Sam the manager

Visited for afternoon tea in the eating room of the main house - delicious! Very friendly host who was more than happy to share her knowledge of the houses history with us. It’s a great spot to visit with the kids for a wander in the woodland, a play in the park and a treat in the cafe. Dogs are also welcome which is a bonus. I look forward to our next visits!

My wife and I stayed at Moggerhanger Park for a long weekend recently and had the most amazing time, firstly the old manor house is as English as it comes, with stunning views and walks in the grounds, and even a cracking little pub a short walk away! The staff were very helpful, even took our bags to our room whilst we had a glass of wine at there new bar. The new proprietor was extremely helpful in telling us about the history of the house and grounds and even gave us a short tour. The bedroom was fantastic, we stayed in Lady T’s room, with a very comfortable bed and fab views! Breakfast was served in the servants hall, where we found fresh fruit, continental style and a full English breakfast fit for a king! In the grounds we found a beautiful walled garden, and a great little tea room where we had lunch and an afternoon tea! Overall we had an amazing experience and simply can't wait to return in the new year, thank you Samuel and team for looking after us! Five stars!!!
