   As I was waiting, the older male with grey hair that works there, stated he wouldn’t be cutting my hair as he only cuts males hair and completely blanked me. I am male. I know I hadn’t had a hair cut for a few month but no need for the attitude. Would be very upsetting to the trans community who look for barbers to make them feel better and feel more them selfs not to have comments like this. No need at all. This isn’t the first time I’ve had this happen and it’s a real shame. Don’t recommend for this community at all. You might be judged/refused service by this guy and there are a lot of barbers out there that don’t care and just wanna help you and make you feel better! The very very lovely lady who works there saw to my hair and made me feel amazing for her I would review 10/10 amazing person helped me so much. If it wasn’t for this wonderful woman I wouldn’t be going back and I will only be going when I’ve checked she’s working. Thank you for the confidence. Real shame this is how this place is turning. do better

   One of the very few barber's open on a Monday. Didn't need to book an appointment, which was really helpful. Queue when I got there, but staff work quickly. Got a basic cut , but done nicely. Cost £ 10 for a pensioner. Staff friendly and know their customers, judging by the conversation. Seems to be the place to go for some regulars.

   Best barbers in town and have been going for years. They seem to grasp exactly what I want every time which can’t be said for every barbers. However recently I’ve found it really difficult to actually get my hair cut here. Despite advertising they close at 5:30 I often get turned away when I race over after finishing work at 5:00. I understand not wanting to be stuck cutting hair past closing time; I just wish customer expectations were managed and they might consider changing the advertised closing time to 5:00 so that people don’t get their hopes up thinking they can be seen. As mentioned above this does not factor into the level of craftsmanship everyone working there has.

   Friendly, no loud terrible music, no bad language, no problem with haircuts. It's a bit busy sometimes but they have good hours, are helpful and don't put up incorrect hours. Used to go here in the past and not really sure why we tried anywhere else. Glad we went back. If a place closes at 3pm, it should close at 3. If the last customer is taken at half 2, then the place actually closes at half 2, not 3. Luckily you'll not have these problems at Boss n Sons.

   I used to use this barber every 2-3 weeks, never had a problem with it until they started employing different staff who unfortunately were absolutely terrible at cutting hair! Had this one girl doing my hair once only asked for a simple cut and she completely screwed it up! Not been back since and probably never will
