We went in the school holidays and the parents actually ruined it for us. The soft play area is not the biggest, but when you have about 15 adults just standing inside it talking to each other it makes it even smaller for the children to play. I understand you need to supervise the children but these parents were more interested in each other. At busy times there needs to be a staff presence to make sure it isn't dangerously over crowded and also make sure everyone is sticking to the rules. We ended up leaving as our children did not enjoy it. Food and drink are also very expensive but that is to be expected from a garden centre. The tables take ages to be cleaned too. The toilets were clean though and plenty of parking.

Pleasant centre to visit. Cafe ok but think a little understaffed. Play centre for little ones to enjoy so can get quite noisy at times. Range of things to buy with Waitrose supermarket goods included. Garden area fine if a little pricey. Option to have loyalty card. Extensive car park.

A lovely soft play for little ones. However, there was nobody managing the entrance so it was really busy, possibly with people who hadn't paid. We also had to queue at the coffee counter to let them know we had arrived for our booking. This took quite a while and meant our time slot started late. That said, nobody was managing the entrance so it didn't matter either way. Nobody came to clear the trays etc so it was a bit messy at the table areas, with trays piling up on the windows. The soft play itself is very clean. The only thing it's missing is a ball pit. One of the better soft plays for toddlers tbh.

Thus play area is well positioned towards the rear of the restaurant with plenty is seating nearby so you can sit relax and enjoy your drink or food while the h.kids are happy playing. When I last visited with family there was a £3 charge but it's worth it to know they are safe and enjoying themselves.

No toilet roll in the ladies!! Only one heater in the entire restaurant so people were cold and wearing coats, and my Mum sat physically shivering. Two of the three vegan meals were unavailable. On the positive side, the staff were nice, friendly and helpful.
