I've been coming to abington Park my whole life ,the best park in northampton ,I love Sundays by the band stand with a picnic and lovely weather can't beat it lots of families there as well enjoying themselves
Great park in Northampton. Lots of squirrels to feed. Small bird avairy. Lovely cafe ..bit pricey but cakes are to die for
An excellent inner town park, well kept plenty of benches to sit & watch the world go by, coffee shop serving hot food & drinks & ice cream, in summer bandstand has music to listen to
The bandstand sees a full contingent of musical tastes throughout the summer on Sunday afternoons from brass bands, chorus groups, jazz artists performing to the general public under the open sky. Best listened to with your friends and family and a picnic to hand. Take an umbrella, just in case. Free.
Great to sit and listen to the band in the summer months. Take a picnic and relax. Gets busy. Outdoor games are enjoyed like football table tennis etc. Resturant nearby and public toilets. Lovely park.
