   AMAZING! Im 53 and this was my first tattoo and Lucy came up with some beautiful designs for me based on the style I liked. I run an animal sanctuary so wanted to build up a gallery using some of the animals here and Lucy completely understood the brief and I couldn't be happier. The whole experience was was completely relaxed and pain free - felt like I was just having a chat with a friend.! HIGHLY recommend!

   I went into ESPY after a recommendation and decided to pop in on the off chance one Wednesday afternoon. As soon as I stepped through the door, I knew I’d found the right place. I met Boysie and explained what I was hoping for, and Lucy, who was in the background at the time, immediately said she thought this one might be for her. We had an impromptu consultation right there and then, and I shared my ideas. For a bit of context — this tattoo was something very personal, a tribute to my Dad. I wanted to have it done on our shared birthday, both massive Pink Floyd fans, that was an important theme for me. Lucy took everything in with such care and understanding, and said she’d come back to me with some ideas. From that first meeting, I knew I was in the best hands. Lucy later sent over some designs, and we talked them through together — she was incredible when I wanted to tweak a few details, and came back with a design that was everything I could have hoped for and more. The date was booked, and when I arrived at the studio, I instantly felt relaxed. It was an emotional day for me, but Boysie and Lucy had a playlist on that my Dad would have absolutely loved, which made it all the more special. Boysie was also tattooing that day, and I got a glimpse of his incredible work too — the level of artistry and skill in that studio is honestly next level. The décor and artwork around the studio make it such a unique and inspiring space — calm, creative, and full of character. ESPY is a beautifully welcoming place, and Lucy is not only a truly talented artist but also kind, patient, and so easy to connect with. I’m beyond happy with my tattoo and the whole experience. I would highly recommend ESPY to anyone thinking about getting ink — in fact, don’t go anywhere else!

   This was my first experience of getting a tattoo and I can say anything bad about Boysie and the team. The shop and staff were all very welcoming, the facilities were very clean, he answered any questions prior to my appointment and worked with the design I gave him perfectly. And on departure gave me after care guide on what to do and some balm to help with the process.

   I had such a wonderful experience here. The studio itself has a beautiful aesthetic and a really welcoming atmosphere — I felt comfortable as soon as I walked in. Everyone was so friendly, and my artist Lucy, was absolutely lovely. She took the time to help me design my tattoo before the appointment and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. During the session, she was so calm, patient, and understanding. If I wanted something adjusted, she was more than happy to change it with no problem at all. She gave me great advice throughout, and the work she did on my tattoo is absolutely stunning. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first tattoo, and I’m so grateful. Highly recommend this studio!

   I got tattooed by Sarah and the whole experience was incredible. From communication prior to the appointment to the after care chat. The studio is spotless and it's also cosy and comfortable. I was immediately made felt welcome and put at ease. Sarah was really patient and gentle and the tattoo is absolutely gorgeous. Would definitely use this studio again and recommend it to my friends.

   Alex did my sternum and I am beyond happy with it, she did an amazing job and it was exactly what I wanted. Her work is beautiful and she was so lovely to be tattooed by. Espy is a really chilled, welcoming and happy environment too, had a laugh with them and felt really comfortable there, overall top experience. Definitely be returning for future work!

   Had my first tattoo with Alex yesterday and it was an all-round brilliant experience! We’d exchanged a couple of messages with design ideas and Alex had created a draft that was exactly what I had in mind. I was a little nervous and didn’t know what to expect but Alex was great and explained everything as we went along. There was almost no discomfort during the actual tattooing process and the end result was absolutely fantastic, even better than I expected! I should also mention the studio itself - as a first timer, some studios look pretty intimidating. But Espy is really welcoming - bright, clean and really nicely designed. And the artists and other customers were so friendly too. I’d definitely recommend the studio (and Alex!) if you’re at all uncertain or nervous or just want a damn good tattoo! I’ll be back!
