We were seeking a combined Autism and ADHD assessment for our daughter. Help for Psychology were absolutely incredible from start to finish, so professional, kind and made the process as easy as possible for all of us. They also made the experience really comfortable for our daughter, explaining everything step by step, no pressure, allowing breaks during the assessment and letting her choose when she was ready for the next step. Our daughter is a high masker too, and they saw through all of that. We received the outcome and feedback within a few days of the assessment, and the report two weeks later. The report is fantastic, detailed and has lots of helpful recommendations. We would highly recommend Help for Psychology to others and can’t speak highly enough of them! Thank you so much for being so patient and understanding, and for giving us the answers we’ve known in our hearts for years.

I payed privately for an asd assessment for my son back in 2020. I didn't want to wait the lengthy nhs wait so we decided to go private as my son was struggling and had various characteristics of asd. We had the assessment no complaints there. We got the outcome report and it was decided my son didn't get a diagnosis for autism. He had sensory processing delay. As my son has a variety of professionals he sees it was mentioned over time that they believe my son was autistic he was placed on the nhs waiting list. Fast forward 5 years and today I had the outcome of another autism assessment done by a different provider via right to choose and my son now finally has a diagnosis of asd as well as adhd. This review is more for information that children can be misdiagnosed. Never give up and keep going as if I'd of believed the first diagnosis my son would of continued to struggle with no understanding why he has his difficulties.

We didn't want to wait a couple of years going through the NHS to get our son diagnosed, so came here. The whole team was amazing and so kind and caring. The assessment process was fascinating and the report very thorough. It was so worth coming here. Highly recommend.

£70 per hour!!! Yes if I could afford that I wouldn't be depressed. Ludicrously expensive given that most autistics are not able to get paid work due to the ableism we face. AND AUTISM IS A DIFFERENCE NOT A DISORDER.

My little boy went for a full ASD/PDA Assessment on the 26/04/21 - I thought the entire process would be stressful and longed out because unfortunately we haven't had the best experiences as a small family when it came to my sons disability. Help4Physchology and all the Ladies involved in my sons Assessment were FANTASTIC and the report was extremely thorough, they were understanding, calm, efficient and supportive throughout the entire process. My son thankfully now has his full official diagnosis. We were even able to find out a few hours after the actual ADOS that he had been officially diagnosed and its provided a lot of relief to all of us - its also enabled my son to access more appropriate support for his complex needs. HIGHLY recommend to everyone looking for a positive and quick experience trying to get a diagnosis either for themselves or for a loved one.
