   I approached the solicitors in January 2022 for an immigration issue. The communication was extremely slow, lots of solicitors continue to change in the firm which delays matters. We paid £1500, I decided as the process was taking too long and it’s faster if I do it myself asked for a refund as nothing had been carried out by the solicitors. I got a refund in July 2024 of £600, there was a £900 charge for sending a few emails back and fourth to myself & for preparing an application form for which I have no evidence as nothing was ever sent to me. I do not recommend DV, high priced & many hidden costs.

   We have been using Deo Volente Solicitors for the purchase of our first home. We have had the pleasure in dealing with Tamara Gooding throughout this journey and she has been amazing to deal with! Tamara has been very hardworking, extremely helpful, super thorough and most informative, we have experienced a lot of setbacks in our purchase due to the inadequacies of the sellers solicitors however due to Tamara's determination and professionalism we were able get all things arranged in a timely manner. I have been warned that at times dealing with solicitors can be a nightmare and you may have to chase your solicitor however this wasn't applicable to us as Tamara was very responsive whether via returning missed calls or responding to emails the same day, we were consistently kept up to date throughout our journey. Tamara's manner is very approachable and friendly, she was very clear when explaining things we didn't understand and always delivered on tasks she said she would do. We're so glad Tamara did all she could to ensure the best possible outcome on our behalf. We have had a pleasant experience as first time buyers for our first purchase for which we are very grateful.
