I went for kane swimming. Two middle lanes were open while the outer lanes were children having lessons. Children were great and engaged in their lessons, made no difference to my swim. The water was a good temp despite others saying it was cold...nothing worse than a hot pool for lane swimming, you sweat buckets. Lockers were a pound or your own padlock, I always opt for the own padlock one I keep in my swimming bag. A decent size of lockers available, the taller one for my folded crutch in it easily. I used the accessible changing room, which was amazing. It's the first one I've uses that felt intentionally designed and not a forgotten ads one. Even had a seat with handles on which I uses to dress. Loo and shower also in there. I didn't use cafe or anything, went there, swim, went out. Changing was great and pool was fab. Nothing more to say really.

Terrible staff members. Very rude! Can’t even feed your children without being told to put your food away all because we did not buy the food from the cafe. They say you get free softplay if you buy food yet when we got here we walked to the man to pay he let us go in for free which shocked us. So we started to eat the food we bought from another shop. The lady who bought out food to another table came to our table telling us we ain’t aloud to eat in here because we didn’t buy something. So basically you ain’t aloud to eat in there unless you buy something from the cafe but even if you pay for softplay for still can’t feed your children due to once again not buying food. How do you expect mothers to feed their children not everyone can afford cafe food. Also what if your child has allergies!!! They say the tables are only for the cafe what about the mothers who only pay for softplay they ain’t aloud to sit at the tables to watch your children. Will never be coming here again

My grand children both have swimming lessons here. Lovely new building big family changing rooms . Small soft play area. Friendly staff. Cafe a bit expensive.

A new facility which the town needs badly for Children to be able to swim. Not the largest of pools but ok! On entering the Centre you’ll find yourself in a lovely Cafe area Along with the Reception desks. There is also a small enclosed play-pen for young children. Toilets and Swimming pool also on the ground floor. Upstairs you’ll find the Gymnasium with plenty of Light! Parking nearby in the Multi-storey Car-Park. Sighted in a great location!

Gym is okay but if you’re planning to join this gym to have access to the pool, don’t bother. The pool times are only suitable if you don’t work. I’m only able to go swimming once a week on a Sunday due to the timetable.

10/10 would recommend after building everything from new. I have been in Health suite with nice new sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, 2 big swimming polls and a new gym upstairs. Everything is new and nice.

Visited the new pool today with my 5 year old and 1 year old. Lovely new facilities with lovely big lockers for storing all the families belongings. The learner pool is a nice size but nothing to really entertain our 5 year old. And after about 20 mins our 1 year old was shivering. We found there is quite a cold breeze blowing around the pool so that didn't help. Overall it is a lovely pool with great facilities which we will probably visit again but not with our youngest as it was too cold for him.

First and last time we’ll visit the cafe at the new leisure centre. The woman serving gave us tea instead of the coffee we ordered. When told of her mistake, she proceeded to argue that we were wrong. Even accusing my elderly mother of not speaking out sooner when she saw her making tea! As she had her back to her, how would she have seen what she was making? Instead of rectifying her mistake, she kept on arguing with both of us so we asked for our money back. She went off in a strop and her colleague came and refunded us!

Great place, lots of people using it. I'm giving only 3 stars for a 1 simple reason. The new leisure centre will not have squash courts what means around 50 players from around area will have to travel far distance to play the sport they like. Shame.
