Wonderful and kind member of staff at the self checkouts today I have noticed him before he interacts so well with other shoppers and the regulars seem to know him well. He was so helpful today whilst I had trouble with my card he was patient and kind about it Self service today 16/12/25 around 5:40pm
Not one of the better stores staff make up for the stores failings by being helpful patient nice. No middle lane items which is good as I'm not tempted but it would be handy to be able to buy a toilet brush occasionally

Oh right, this was a discovery by the Macclesfield bus station. Strange but handy. Unlikely to drive there as new ones e.g. up on the Silk Road easier to access.
Not sure the practice of having all tills closed on a Saturday lunch time will catch on. Shoppers were directed to self scan even with full trolleys. I believe the next step will be to encourage shoppers to remove items from the metal cages to save staff the job of filling the shelves !!

Self checkouts! Thank you Aldi, all stores need these please. Modernised store, not the biggest and a bit dark but not as tight as some are. Car park isn’t huge but it’s fine.
Small store, could do with relocating, everybody's on top of each other in store at peak times of day, parking eye, so remember to enter your registration into keypad inside store after shopping if you arrived by car/moped, Staff don't remind you to do this...
