I had to get new trainers for my granddaughter, the store assistant helped me, then the manager, between them, they found a Sainsburys store that had the right size. They were both so very helpful. Thank you both.

Of the last 4 visits to Sainsburys Whitchurch 3 times I have been subject to a "random" check while going through the "Smart" checkout. Being made to feel like a criminal is bad enough but 3 out of 4 times? The last one the "assistant" (complete misnomer there!) said they just need to check 10 items, they then changed this to have to check every single item. What is the point of doing a smart shop if you then want to check them all again? Just open a till for goodness sake, I would much sooner go through a till anyway. I stopped going to Chester branch because that is now kitted out to make every customer feel like a criminal with metal barriers on the exit. I used the Whitchurch branch because they had nicer food and it was a nice place to shop. I enjoy shopping and enjoy choosing nice food, I very much dislike self checkout and I absolutely refuse to be subject to checking all my shopping only for an assistant to almost always presume I am trying to steal something and go through my shopping again. You won't be seeing me again you can keep your self checkouts and your assumption I am a criminal and cannot be trusted. Just to be clear I have never stolen from a shop, have never been found to have anything in my trolley unaccounted for, have never made a mistake with the self checkout and nor have I ever done one single thing to warrant this treatment Just a perfectly ordinary 60 year old British white male that would be surprised if anyone other than the self checkout gestapo even glanced twice at. I shan't be going to any Sainsburys ever again, I am going to do my shopping where my custom is accepted without me being made to feel a criminal. I don't mind if my custom or money isn't even appreciated but I do mind the nastiness that is what a shopping experience has become in Sainsburys. By the way, clean your shelves they are absolutely minging. I have attached a picture I took a fortnight ago of the fresh chicken counter, you are going to poison people if you don't clean the place. I understand shelves can look a bit worse for wear after a busy day but the mess on this shelf didn't happen in a day, even the shelf sign is mouldy. I'm surprised health and safety haven't been onto you because it was seriously awful. I awarded one star because I had to, you deserve much less.

Shropshire s famouslordhillmuseum curators all shop at Sainsbury's best best is what we like our museum. allows bidders on line to buy historical items rare and fine just like Sainsbury's stores

Store is no longer welcoming or useful due to lack of products, quality of produce and extortionate price increases. Range changes have left many people forced into buying larger pack sizes or more expensive brands A sneaky way to take more money from you that you haven't got Not my supermarket choice anymore

Generally can get what you need, can be more expensive than other places however. The car park is in need of a serious revamp, huge pot holes coming in and out of the car park and a large selection of the disabled bays have been cornered off due to large potholes

Loads of parking spaces. Lots of room inside the store. The vegetables stay fresher longer than from other supermarkets. All in all a nice place to shop

Went to pick up a purchase from the Argos in-store , but had a little shop around while I was there and found a few special items for Christmas. The layout of the store was easy and pleasant also the quality appears good although have yet to sample. Store was clean, tidy and the staff were very cheerful.

Prices are a bit higher than say Lidl/Aldi but never any issue with quality, don't get me wrong it isn't amazing but its not trash either. Has a good range of items rarely sold out of everything, 9/10 staff are around to help if needed

It's a Sainsbury's, it's exactly the same as all the others. There's an interesting preserved feature on the car park though, maybe an ice room with a well in it, walk up onto the grass bank and look in through the viewing hole in the top.
