Tesco Macclesfield is conveniently located and easy to get to, which is a clear positive. However, even during peak hours, several aisles are often partially blocked by carts stacked with cardboard, creating obstructions and feeling unsafe, with items looking close to falling. The click & collect staff always appears under pressure and frequently moving quickly through the aisles, which makes the shopping experience feel rushed and uncomfortable for other customers. In addition, the overall cleanliness could be improved. With better aisle management and housekeeping, the store could offer a much more pleasant experience.

The place now is a shambles, trucks in all the aisles either full of goods to go on the shelves or full of cardboard Friday 14 November 11 am Shelves empty or full of empty cartons No sign of identifiable management, not for years, should be around the store to see what is happening No longer neat and tidy

The 2 new plastic speed bumps upon entry are overkill and put me off coming here to avoid knackering my suspension and tyres.

Staff are always stood in aisles swearing and chatting, there is a lovely though on the bread section with short brown hair, always beavering away and has a smile on her face! The bloke on self checkouts with the black hair who looks a bit gothy is so miserable! He shouldn't be in a customer service job.

I visited Tesco on Hibel Road today and I was fortunate enough to have been helped by a lovely woman named Ali. She was so helpful and kind. The Moneygram service is really difficult to deal with but she persisted until it worked. It was the kind of customer service we all wish for but rately get. That lovely lady deserves a raise & a holiday hahaha. Thank you Aliβ€οΈ

Terrible experience. Only 2 tills open and 1 abruptly closed with people queuing up . 40 minutes we spent in that que , they even close the trolley self scanner !!! Why ? Also there was a huge leek in the roof which nobody attended to while we were there . Management need to sort this out and get more tills open

Two checkouts open at 8:30pm. Racks of produce stacked in other checkout exits. Signs for poultry and beef but not lamb or pork. No cheap cuts of meat. No butchers counter that I can see. No sale goods or discounts now without a data mining clubcard. CCTV with monitor to make you feel like a criminal on entry. .

Stopped by to get a few bits, but had to use WC first. There was NO SOAP in the toilet. Instead they had antibacterial gels next to the sinks. I've got OCD and can't bear the thought of leaving the public toilet without washing my hands thoroughly. I approached the first person working there to ask to solve this issue. He did pass my message to another workers at the counter, they enquired as if it mattered who asked for such a thing, soap, in the toilet. And one of them went to get some soap. She brought it to the counter and went on with her day. As if nothing happened. As if no one was waiting for her to put the soap where it belongs! I felt most frustrated and disgusted. We always have soap and water in the car, so went out to wash my hands outside . Needless to say we didn't bother buying what we needed in this store as the attitude of some workers is repulsive , lack of hygiene is obvious.

Just awful. Carpark tight. Automatic checkout that require an assistant every time you use your own bags. Petrol station that if you pick up the wrong fuel you can't use the same pump again, I'm guessing because of the payment check done before I picked the wrong grade petrol. Which is an easy mistake because there is little to no different between the pumps with the two grades
