One of the most kindest folks I've ever met, everytime I grab out some money he always politely asks if I could trade my 10s for 20s and 5s, such a wonderful shop
Genuinely don't understand how the shop at the top of Broadhurst Green (Rose Cottage) is still open! The older man working behind the counter is unbelievably rude and aggressive! Can't even complain to Premier because the stores are independent! My 14yr old daughter has just been in to get some bread and milk, and was browsing the aisles to spend some money on a treat for herself. He loudly shouted at her twice if there was something she was looking for, instantly making her feel uncomfortable and anxious. It's not the first time this man has done this to her or other people I know - I won't be spending a single penny of my money in this store again and I know there are other people who feel the same. Horrible man!!
Store is unkempt with packages all over the floor makes you a bit anxious about leaving your parcels to ve delivered. Service though was quick and minimal.
First time visiting this shop as I had to collect a parcel. When I first walked in I asked the gentleman behind the till if I was in the correct place to pick up a Yodel deliver and he just replied look. I turned to where he had gestured to see piles of parcels thrown all over the shop floor and had to start rummaging through the parcels to try and find mine. As I was doing this I overheard the shop keeper snap at a young boy with his parents that he needed to hold a can of pop up higher so he could see the can at all times. It was unnecessarily sharp and rude especially considering the boy didn’t appear to be doing anything particularly suspicious with the can and had been only around 6 years old. I took my parcel to the counter where he just snapped barcode at me. I explained to the gentleman that yodel had made an error so I hadn’t received my normal collection email with barcode but that I had a collection code. He then told me that wasn’t his problem and that he wouldn’t let me leave with my parcel unless I could provide him with a barcode to scan. He then took my parcel behind the counter screen where I could no longer reach it. Shocked I went home and spoke to yodel helpdesk who provided me with an email correspondence to present to the shop keeper explaining what had happened and that my collection code would be just as valid as the barcode. I returned to the shop has to rummage through the pile of parcels again as after I’d left it seemed he’d thrown it back onto the ground. As I presented the ships keeper with my email from the delivery company and the collection code once again trying to calmly explain the situation but he told me he would not let me have my parcel and that I had to leave. I told him I would not be leaving without my parcel. Hearing the conversation another gentleman came to the till and happily processed my collection with no issues and was very polite and helpful the whole time. Honestly if I’d have dealt with the Second Gentleman from the start I would have had minimal complaints but as it stands due to the downright rude and unpleasant behaviour I won’t return and have found another shop locally where I can send/receive parcels and shop where the shop keeper couldn’t be friendlier.

The owner is acting really rude when collecting items from ebay..he refused to take my last packages in....not worthy for a star.. but i can't go any lower
I have used this shop for over 30 years so the lady owner knows me, more recently I have used Rose Cottage for collecting my eBay parcels, after yesterday’s total rudeness by her husband and her taking control of the situation, I will never use this local shop again.
Avoid this shop, my wife visited here today today to buy a chocolate bunny for my daughter at £4.99 to pay on her card, he charged £5 instead. We won't be using again. Does that all day to his customers it adds up, avoid

Always seem annoyed when only collecting eBay,never listen to name on parcel.Act as if they don't like doing it.
