   As a long established local business, we have worked with several accountancy firms over the years. We have now been working with Pacific since 2016 having finally found a company that is knowledgeable, highly efficient, organised and reliable, and very good at communicating. Pacific has always provided us with prompt, straightforward and sound advice on our business matters, and we have felt confident and reassured that they are working in our best interests. We have two companies and work with many of the staff at Pacific, all of whom have been professional, polite and easy to work with. We have found the staff to always know exactly what is happening with our businesses at any given time and that is very reassuring. We always look forward to our meetings with Pacific because they are genuinely nice people.

   Watch out for hidden fees. I received a bill from Pacific for filing my year end accounts which was £1010.25 higher than what had been originally agreed (over a 50% jump in the quoted price). When I raised this concern, I was met with rudeness from the owner, Bronya Cluer, and there was no willingness whatsoever to try to find any resolution. The actual work done throughout the year by Anne Richards was decent. However, there were instances where we were charged these additional fees without being consulted. For example, Pacific made changes to a Purchase Order on our QuickBooks that we did not want without asking us, and in our bill at the end of the year we noticed they had charged us £37.50 to fix their changes. They denied making the changes, yet the audit log on QuickBooks shows it was them. This is just one of the many instances where I clearly and politely outlined that we were being overcharged and it was met with disdain. No refunds were offered for these overcharges. Be wary of hidden fees if you instruct Pacific.
