   We hired Gemma for a party earlier in the year and unfortunately I wouldn’t use or recommend again. When I first called Gemma I found her to be very professional and polite, it was a great first impression. On the day of the party I was surprised Gemma did not arrive earlier than she did as she was then still setting up a good 10 minutes into the start time of the party, something I’ve never encountered before with other painters or entertainers. A fuss was made about where she needed to go resulting in us having to move food tables that had already been set up by other suppliers and sadly I found Gemma disorganised and flustered in comparison with other painters we’ve had in the past. During the party Gemma once again made another fuss that she “couldn’t control the queue and paint” and that that wasn’t her job, even though she could clearly see as the parents of the birthday child we were trying to speak with guests and organise other elements of the party and suppliers. I was quite taken aback by this as we’d paid a set price for so many hours painting and just expected Gemma to be able to get on with it really as we were below maximum numbers even with the few siblings that also attended and we had not been asked for a list of names or anything. Gemma unfortunately offended and upset some of my guests and family members by refusing to paint some of the children telling them they were not a part of the party (not sure where this came from) but then had painted some adults even though this had not been agreed. I still do not know why a fuss was made about the queue when adults were painted! My child (birthday child) was told to move away from her which I didn’t find out until the evening when they told me (otherwise I would have told Gemma to pack up and leave) and one of my guests was upset when they asked if she had any photographs to which she replied quite abruptly that she didn’t need photographs as she was very experienced. The face painting was also quite substandard, not a single child had a full face and only had something very small on their cheek - a lot of 1 minute face style videos you see on Facebook or Tik Tok. All in all I wouldn’t use again and all of the adults who attended commented on how rude they found Gemma which was quite embarrassing for us as hosts! Sorry to say when you read this Gemma, but it wasn’t a positive or pleasant experience on this occasion for us and I expected a better service especially when we had paid you a considerable sum of money. We did not need the added stress you contributed on the day and all in all just found you to be quite rude and abrupt.

   Can’t recommend Gemma enough! If you are in need of a face-painter, glitter tattooist (she even does balloons) and you haven’t contacted Party Faces then why on earth not?! The children loved her and everyone commented on how good the children looked - parents have asked for her details and booked her since! You won’t be disappointed! She took on our party theme (crocodiles) nothing was too much trouble. We won’t hesitate to book Gemma Party Faces again! Thanks for everything, Kate xx

   Booked party faces for my daughters 5th birthday party on the weekend. Everything went so smoothly, turned up on time and got straight to painting the children's faces.    Absolutely amazing. Lovely lady with patience of a saint, was able to do Paw Patrol designs as requested with literally no prior experience of doing so!! Got through so many children too in a short space of time. Will be using again!

   We booked Gemmas balloon modelling for our daughters 6th birthday. She was so kind and friendly, didn't stop for the whole two hours and all the children were fascinated by what she could create for them. She even stayed an extra 15 mins to make sure my daughter had a special balloon to take home. I received lots of comments from other parents about how good she was. I'd highly recommend her : )

   Gemma’s face painting is absolutely amazing. I’ve never come across anyone that’s anywhere near as good. She does the most beautiful designs and she’s so good with the kids while she’s doing it. My daughter has had her face painted several times by her and it was exquisite. Her balloon models are fantastic too. I highly recommend.

I've used her services on several occasions now and she's never once let me down, shes reliable and trust worthy and is amazing with children of all ages.
