   What a fantastic place! Jamie and his team are welcoming and super helpful. I was a walk in, visiting the area on holiday. I knew what I wanted, an image to celebrate my late sister, and Alfie made it happen. He was kind and gentle and really lovely to talk to. I totally recommend using these guys if you want a tattoo in the Mumbles.

   OUTSTANDING!! Came here based off a family recommendation to get my first tattoo, the start of a forearm sleeve. To say this place exceeded expectations is an understatement. What a fantastic place with talented artists. The whole process was relaxing and enjoyable from start to finish, 10 hours of tattooing completely flew by, I will be recommending to all my friends and family, outstanding work and a brilliant shop overall, I cant wait to come back to get the sleeve finished! 10/10.

   I’ve been getting tattooed by Mia for such a long time nothing was stopping me from travelling to Cardiff to the new shop to continue this experience. She is so gentle and kind, has the most beautiful eye for detail and is always going above and beyond to ensure the design is beyond perfect. She is patient and ensures her client is okay every step of the tattoo. Each tattoo I have gotten by her has had the biggest love over how incredibly realistic and perfectly executed the ideas are. The shop is so beautifully presented and has a very homely feel to it that you feel at ease upon arrival and the rest of the staff are so kind, they’ll engage in conversations with you that sometimes you’ll actually forget your having a tattoo but feel like your just sitting in a lounge with some friends. Mia, Jamie and Ian gave me the warmest welcome and never made me feel out of place, will always recommend black sand tattoo studio to any of my friends or family, especially Mia because her talent is exceptional.
