Humbug! Disappointed that the brewery that runs this place won’t let regular oap users bring in a bit of Christmas buffet! They don’t deserve the business. Added to no windows that open or air conditioning, and often a sticky floor, it’s not great for dancing events and it’s supposed to be a ballroom.
Had a party here, in the smaller ballroom, it was great, as were the all the staff.
Fantastic venue for a conference. Kirsty could not have been more helpful. We have already rebooked for November! Sound, projector, tables and chairs set up well, tea and coffee topped up all day, loads of free parking and a great room. Super happy with this venue.
What a great place for a function. Went to friends 21st. It was fantastic. Staff were great too

Came here Friday 9th dec pm, lovely venue, the tables and chairs were dressed beautifully. Food very disappointing, singers both definitely off key, awful comes to mind. Got up to dance once the dj came on, only to return and find our drinks had been cleared off the table. Not amused at all!!
Our first time at the 1940s dance, it was absolutely fantastic, the band was amazing and the dancing and period dress was awesome.
