Awful place. Entry is low cost which is great but the experience makes you realise why it’s so cheap. The place is dirty. We were in the baby part and the majority of toys were dirty or broken (we understood from the signs they were donated but surely more care could go into general cleaning of them and maintenance). The interactive toy built in the wall had mould growing on the inside - understandable that this may be hard to clean but little fingers can get into this which can transfer into their mouths. Looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since it was put there. A standing baby bouncer was left on the soft play area instead of on the floor area, we put our daughter into it not realising how unstable it was on that surface and she nearly toppled over. Ordered food for both adults and the jacket potato was freezing, asked for it to be reheated which the staff were happy to do. It came back hot and when I started to eat it I had what appeared to be a piece of plastic from my meal in my mouth. My partner spoke to the staff who gave no offer of a replacement meal or a refund for this he had to go back and ask. Considering I got that meal as I could share with my little one it was lucky I ended up with the foreign object in my mouth rather than her knowing none the wiser. A hazard we wouldn’t be returning to or recommending. Also, after seeing your responses to other negative feedback, we would appreciate not having a condescending message back in response.

Dirty and Dangerous. Shame as the staff were lovely. I've not been for over 10 years, and I will not be returning. How is it dangerous? The netting that is meant to be secured to the main frame is not secure, meaning children can climb the netting onto the top of the play structure. I personally think this is dangerous. I'm sure you are proud to be running a play area that is so dirty.

After spending one hour and 45 minutes at polar Palace (1 hour spent waiting for food which was raw pizza covered in chunks of garlic ), my family and friends came away starving, dissatisfied and FREEZING!!! The kids equipment is filthy and overall just has a dark feeling about the whole place! If ‘polar palace’ is trying to live up to its name then well done!! It’s about -1° in there. Never to return folks !!!! If I were to make a suggestion, it is to have more staff than 1 in the kitchen and 1 out in the front with a roomful of customers or have adequately trained staff!! Photos are some equiptment from the kids kitchen!!! Filthy EDIT: your response to this review and many other negative ones is very condescending. We visited midday, I don’t think dried up dirt on a toy shows ‘regular cleaning’ and I definitely don’t think it would have got so filthy within just a matter of hours of your opening time. Just to note aswell, when I then explained my frustrations to your manager, she was then going around cleaning up. Does it take a first time customer for you to do simple tasks? And for the pizza, did you eat it yourself? I wouldn’t even feed my dog that clumpy garlic pizza. Not to mention the really sad panini I received 15 mins before our session ended which was filled with what looked like half a piece of bacon cut up, and gone off cranberry! Cold chips and browned salad! I didn’t even touch it and just left it at your unmanned till for you to see for yourself. 1 hour wait time for that was just unacceptable!! I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt from the first 15 minutes of my visit but unfortunately I will not even recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Polar Palace is a great place to take your kids Climbing frames, giant slide, ball pits and under 5's play area. There are also go carts that are £1 a go. Hot and cold food and drinks available

Really friendly staff, prompt polite service and clean. Only knocked off one star because there was so so many people it was overwhelming even for an adult. There was a party in the main area, a party in the party room plus general guests. The tables and chairs were crammed in so it was hard to navigate. I appreciate it’s a business and they are taking as many bookings as they can but it did take away from the enjoyment a little.

Had my little boy's 6th birthday party here today and was such a good party and great value. The party hosts were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. All the kids seemed to enjoy themselves. Would thoroughly recommend!

Went along on a Saturday around lunch time, so as can be expected it was very busy. Despite the madness of how busy it was, staff were friendly and helpful. Ordered some food which was reasonably priced and good portion sizes. Felt the play area and service was very good, and my daughter had a great time.

Had a VIP party for our daughter here. She had such a great time! The VIP party doesn't come with decorations but they were more than happy to allow us to bring our own. We were allowed in early enough to set up. Foam/snow party was included, which the kids/big kids loved. Then food was served shortly after which were individual plates for each child including sandwiches, hot dogs, pizza, crisps and carrot sticks and then ice-cream, biscuits and marshmallows for pudding. A sandwich platter was also provided for the adults. Sweet cones were given at the end so didn't have to worry about party bags. Staff were really lovely. I have seen a few previous reviews mention hygiene but it was lovely and clean when we went. Was so nice to have the place to ourselves so it wasn't overly busy, definitely worth it and hope to do it again next year.
