Absolutely wonderful venue for breakfast so good that the Telford Armed forces breakfast club meet there 1st,3rd and 4th Saturday morning and they know their food. Staff are wonderful and go out of their way to make sure we have everything we need.
Food is fantastic. Staff are friendly and really helpful. Love the place!

The Wakes offers an excellent community space for the residents of Oakengates and beyond. Multi-use function room used by a range of groups and societies, as well as events such as craft fairs. Attached to the fab Outpost cafe, so you can get an affordable bite to eat or Iron & Fire coffee during your visit too.
Refurbished & the Range cafe now has a trendy rustic bistro vibe. Excellent coffee, good range of cakes & food, including a couple of Vegan options. Great to see that the Wakes function room is being utilised again after being closed for so long.
Went here today to have lunch around 11.40 this morning, been before and was lovely so thought would return this week. On arrival through the door before entering the lift there was a smell like being in a nail salon. When arriving on the first floor there was a very strong smell of nail glue and in the main area of the restaurant there was obviously a group session to do with nails etc. The overwhelming smell deterred us from staying and ordering any foods.
