An absolutely amazing place to stay whilst buying our new home. Views are beautiful, as are the neighbours (picture attached). Annie and the team are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.
We were between houses as we had sold and we're waiting on the next one when we found this gem. Wonderful location, surrounded with fields and very peaceful. There are plenty of places to walk, or eat/drink, a few minutes drive away, or you can walk across the fields to East Haddon. Ged and Wendy were lovely hosts, very helpful and kind. Would definitely recommend East Haddon Grange cottages.
Wren cottage was a comfortable "home from home" for us for several months in summer 2020, while we had building work being done on our own house. It's a lovely quiet spot in the countryside and this was the smaller of a group of ironstone farm buildings that have been modernised. Wren cottage has a large bedroom, a galley kitchen, a medium sized sitting room and a large shower/wc room ensuite to the bedroom and is perfect for a couple or single who want somewhere to stay they can be independent and do their own thing.
We were relocating to the area for work and needed somewhere to stay whilst finding a property. East Haddon Grange cottages were perfect for this! With all our belongings in storage, the cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed. Not too far from shops yet surrounded by fields and public foot paths, it really is the best of both worlds. Everyone is very friendly, with anything you need is a phone call away, 10/10 would recommend.
This was our second stay at East Haddon Grange, once when we moved to the county eleven years ago and again recently when we sold our house prior to relocating. Accommodation on both stays was beyond our expectations as it was homely and extremely comfortable. We had wonderful neighbours in the other cottages who where between house moves too! We enjoyed many evenings sitting out in the courtyard chatting and exchanging building work conversations! Would recommend for longer stays as it was just so convenient with no extra bills to worry about. Many thanks Annie!
Our family - mom, dad plus 2 kids and 2 dogs - stayed at East Haddon Grange when we arrived in the UK from SA. Annie made our stay a pleasure, she organised everything remotely, with me in SA, was accommodating and friendly and offered us advise regarding areas and schooling. The cottage had everything we needed and was clean and neat. The kids and dogs loved playing and walking in the fields and there is nothing like waking up in the morning and looking at the view out of our bedroom window, with the sun streaming in. Would definitely recommend East Haddon Grange cottages!
Stayed in Owl Cottage at the Grange for nearly 6 months following a domestic calamity. We could not have chosen a better location. In the heart of rural Northamptonshire but close enough to town not to feel isolated. The cottage is very well appointed and equipped with everything you may need. We were really well looked after by Annie who manages the cottages. We will miss looking out of the bedroom window and seeing a cow staring back at us. The cottages are pet friendly, with a 100 acres of fields a great place to go walking with the dog.
