As a single female I know I can trust carl wiggs to be open and honest about what needs doing, would not go anywhere else. They go above and beyond.
This is the best garage ive used! Super friendly ladies in reception, even managed to squeeze me in when they were clearly busy. The work done on the car was completed in amazing time, and ive had zero issues. Absolutely reccomend to anyone in lowestoft. Deffo a very genuine business, who wont rob you!
I had the most wonderful experience with Carl Wigg Autoservices, I purchased a car for a high price, travelled home to wake the following morning to a floor full of oil from my new car! Called around monday morning and was recommended Carl Wigg by a family member who use Carl Wigg autoservices, so I called, and they managed to fit me in that afternoon even though they were already really busy! The ladies in the reception and the mechanics were absolutely amazing! So friendly, Supportive, informative, very honest with what needed doing, just all round amazing! They were very quick and efficient with getting all the parts etc and the work carried out on my vehicle! Spoke me through what i needed from the company i bought my car from, they even ended up speaking to the car company on my behalf and had the necessary work paid for by the car company due to me buying the car not even 24 hours prior to finding the major oil leak, I could not thank all of them enough for everything they did for me! I will forever use Carl Wigg autoservices and would always recommend everyone else to do the same!
Took my car to Carl Wigg after two previous garages failed to identify an oil leak (despite obvious oil on our driveway). They're so helpful and professional. Both Carl and April went above and beyond to diagnose and rectify our Range Rover automatic gearbox issue, where other garages had failed. The extra time and effort they put in researching a solution for us ended up saving us a substantial amount to what we had originally thought. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and a more than fairly priced service. Would highly recommend. Also a shout out to Brad’s Recovery who was brilliant all round in swiftly recovering our vehicle from Norwich to Lowestoft. Many thanks again to all involved.
I'd recently moved house and had no idea which garages I could turn to. My car was in need of repair and after phoning a good few garages who were too busy to help, or wouldn't pick up their phone, etc, I tried Carl Wigg. I was at desperation point by then and their lovely receptionist showed empathy to my situation and booked me in later that day. They sorted out my car very well. They do anything and everything and I am very grateful for their service. The receptionist is very happy to explain what needs doing and why, and gives great customer service. They are situated a little out of town, down a small back street, but within walking distance from my home, and I am now a loyal customer.

I had been using Carl Wiggs since I first came to the UK in 2019 and at first seemed trustworthy and I was happy with my service. Then in 2021 I took it in for a throttle body issue and was told it was too gunked up and needed to be replaced. They quoted me £700 for a new Mercedes part. So I went home and researched the issue myself. Come to find out a throttle body should almost never have to be replaced, only cleaned. So I watched some YouTube videos on how to do it, got the products and tools, removed, cleaned and reinstalled the throttle body myself. Magic! My car now runs as normal and I saved myself being ripped off for over £700 by these guys. Not only did they quote me for an unnecessary part, there was not even a Mercedes part in my car to begin with. It’s Bosch. They made a point to want to sell me the Mercedes part as “it would last longer than a generic part”… Sadly not all customers will be as savvy as me when it comes to online research but just be warned, especially if you are a woman which I am, these guys may try to rip you off. Highly disappointed in that situation, as I was recommended Carl Wiggs by a friend of theirs. I now use Moyse Motors and have been very happy so far.
Had clutch and flywheel fitted, busy family business but fitted me in which was appreciated. Original clutch lasted 110000 miles sadly replacement didn't last 12000 miles and only one year and 2weeks just out of warranty .

Not only did they make my life very easy by dealing with the issue promptly they also recovered the vehicle for me.. A very good and honest service provided.
