Cinderella at the Regent Theatre is an absolute triumph and a must-see pantomime. From start to finish, it’s packed with colour, energy, and laugh-out-loud moments that keep the whole audience completely engaged. Jonathan Wilkes is utterly hilarious and steals every scene he’s in. His comic timing, quick wit, and brilliant interaction with the audience make him an absolute joy to watch. He brings a natural warmth and infectious fun to the role, creating moments that appeal just as much to adults as they do to children. The production itself is spectacular — stunning costumes, vibrant sets, and high-energy musical numbers that create pure festive magic. The cast work seamlessly together, delivering a performance full of heart, humour, and charm. Whether you’re a long-time panto fan or attending for the first time, this Cinderella delivers everything you could want: laughter, spectacle, and feel-good entertainment. A truly fantastic show and one I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a brilliant night out at the theatre.

Nice theatre with fairly comfy seats and insanely warm. Went to see inside Number 9 which was amazing. Great staff who can bring your drink or food to your seat. Only real gripe is the price for food and drink which is a complete rip off

I have visited The Regent many times over the last 20 years but today was my first visit since needing to use a wheelchair. I was apprehensive about what to expect. I booked my tickets using the access phoneline; they were extremely helpful in setting up my access account. I read the online access information for the venue; the guide was very thorough. The pavements around are smooth, the staff were fantastic, help with the platform lift was seemless and made me feel like I was not a burden or inconvenience, the use of the lift to get to the circle was fine (although signs in the lift itself would be helpful as the signs are all at usual head height and the venue was busy so people blocked my sightlines), the access seating was great. Exit was super smooth too- again security staff made me feel safe and were great. What a fantastic way to treat people. Many thanks!

What a beautiful venue. Easy to park nearby and a stunning, spacious theatre. You need cash for the car park and a lady I didn’t know even offered to pay my £2 parking charge! What a great place to live.

It's a nice theatre with helpful staff. Only 4 stars for 2 reasons, the lift goes to the circle but then there's more steps if you're disabled or struggle to walk and refreshments are expensive. Acoustics aren't as good as the Victoria Hall, but that's for sale for some unknown reason???

Brilliant production from Aussie Pink Floyd, (see video clips), but utterly shambolic organisation by the theatre. We were told to be there at 6.30pm, but we were crammed like sardines into the Rear Stalls foyer on the 1st floor like sardines until 7.15. It was sweltering hot, and my disabled friend nearly keeled over. So much for the "Covid precautions" they were boasting about. Not impressed at all with the lack of staff either - one for the whole level.

Lovely theatre. Polite staff. Scanned in on door with QR code on phone. Seats comfy. View from Upper Circle R51 Took our own snacks and drinks. Lots of bars to buy from and order to seat too available. Mini binoculars available for £1 at seats.
