Me and my 4 children stayed at The Stable Yard end of July for 3 nights, and it was very comfortable the children were a bit cautious at first because they had never stayed in a rural location before like this and one of my children carry an EpiPen so she has sever allergies to dust, hay fever, no allergic reaction at all so all good, they were very pleased to see the horses so close up, in the morning’s , we could literally open the door and there were stables across the path, we could not even hear the horses they were so quiet. The host Clarla greeted us and we were left to it. The children were so pleased with our stay that they cannot wait to come back!! I Just wish we had more time to explore the surroundings as there were walks that we could have gone on to take in all that natural countryside views and woodlands. The water was Hot on demand, even with all children showering every day twice, heating took us a bit of getting used to but we worked it out, didn’t really need it, after our first night as the weather improved. A very pleasant stay, the amenities were excellent everything we needed was provided. Our stay was in The Aintree & The Epsom, dishwashers and a washing machine provided, kitchen with cutlery, oven in each, bathrooms were clean too with everything provided towels, loo rolls, ironing boards, iron, kettle, toaster in each apartment. Thank you Carla again.

We stayed here as a large group over new years and had a good stay. We had 7 of the available studios and came as a group of 14 adults and 5 small children. The studios all varied a little but were mostly in good condition, with kitchen facilities, nice bathrooms and comfy beds. For a studio, they were spacious. It did seem however that the different studios had quite different facilities from each other, some had dishwashers while others didn’t, some were well kitted out with cooking utensils/trays etc while others had less, one had washing machine others didn’t. I think it worked for us very well staying as a group as we had access to all we needed when using the studios in combination, but I suppose if you came just using one, you may not have all you needed. In addition, we felt it would have been nice if each place had hand soap, washing up liquid, salt and pepper, oil etc. Nothing major but would have been helpful for self catering. A real positive about the place was the β€˜collecting ring’ which is a large communal indoor area with sofas, a long table and chairs, and a hostess trolley. Also some games and books in here. We used this loads as a group so we could all be together and this was perfect for us to have our new years get together. This space really made the trip work for us. There is a stable/farm on site as well which was lovely and the surroundings are very peaceful. Nearby to some local pubs, a country park and Milton Keynes if you wanted to stop there. Overall a good stay and we would return to use it for another large group trip, but probably not for just one of the studios.

Nice place to stay, rooms are warm and clean Perhaps a little worn and some things need replacing but overall very nice. I've stayed there before and will do again

We made our booking to stay here last year as we were coming to the area for a 21st. Being disabled, finding accommodation in the area was difficult, so we were happy to find somewhere that met enough of my needs that the trip would be comfortable. Unfortunately on our arrival, after a 6 hour drive, we were told our room was unavailable as it was still occupied by other people, that were not disabled. We were offered the choice of two other rooms, a bigger room that had two steps, and a smaller room with a smaller step. Rooms with steps are not accessible. Luckily on this occasion we were travelling with a PA and a family member so we were able to tip my chair and gain entry. This is not access. Travelling with more than one person like this is rare and i would have been left in an impossible situation if we had been alone, especially since we were met with reluctance to move the other guests. As the room was smaller, trying to safely navigate tasks was difficult, and the bathroom was completely inaccessible. The needs of disabled people are needs, they're not something that can just be thrown together as a last minute change. The choice of moving bags, and physically being able to access a building and navigate it safely are not comparable, one is an inconvenience and the other is a necessity. If you are going to continue to offer accessible accommodation then please make sure it is available for those that need it.

Stayed here couple of months back. Was really impressed with the apartment. High ceiling makes the room huge. Really peaceful and private. Bed was nice and comfortable. Will definitely stay at The Stable Yard again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stayed here for two weeks for work. Mold in the main room, bath drain was blocked with a huge clump of long hair when I got in, kitchen was oddly under-equipped, and half the time I went to have a shower the water was either non-existent or pressure and temperature were unreliable. Housekeeping didn't bother to turn up on the weekend, despite assurances. Not impressed.

Lovely, lovely place. If you like animals, and particular horses, you will love this as it's in the middle of a working stables. Self catering apartments are cleverly put together, clean, very comfortable and spacious. Owner and staff are lovely and friendly and the rate is excellent value for money.
