    Very disappointing experience. We booked a viewing for a fully furnished 1-bedroom apartment as they had confirmed availability. When we arrived, not only were they late, but we were then told there was actually no 1-bedroom to view or rent, and only a studio was available. This was a complete waste of our time and showed a lack of respect and professionalism. Would not recommend.

    Avoid this place… I moved in 10 days ago and have the worst experience ever, none of the appliance were checked before I move in. All appliance were off when I viewed the apartment. So, I didn’t notice any fault during viewing. There is a problem with fridge/freezer since day 1 and I have reported it. Very unusual noise that usually caused by motor or compressor issues (I’m an engineer). Unfortunately, after 10 days and many visits, they deny the problem. All I heard was “previous tenant was happy with this” “these are what we have”. no proper action has been taken. Be very careful during your viewing. The fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, and dehumidifier they’ve installed, are very low standard and different than what they have advertised online. Therefore, they need proper maintenance which they refuse to provide

    I have lived here for nearly two years and have loved every minute - great location, all amenities within a stones throw, and a short walk to the train station for travelling into London and surrounding areas. Andrea and all of the residential management team are extremely responsive, friendly and supportive, addressing any property issues promptly and also lending a helping hand where they can!

    If I could give a negative rating, I think I would give it a minus-infinity star rating. Let me list the problems with this apartment and why you SHOULD NOT choose this apartment. 1. Calls to their service line are always on hold. I called four or five times at different times and only one call was successfully connected. 2. Appointment visits on the apartment website cannot be confirmed, and you have no way of knowing whether you have successfully made an appointment. 3. After repeated confirmations, I made an appointment on Monday for a view on Wednesday. But when I refreshed the rightmove website on Tuesday, I found that all room types had been removed. 4. At this time, I called the service phone to inquire about this matter, and the reply I received was "As long as your view is still valid, there are still room types available for reservation." I bought a 50-pound ticket from Southampton to Stevenage with some trepidation, and got up early to catch the train. Guess what, when I sat on the train to Stevenage on Wednesday, they "regrettably" informed me that all apartments had been booked and my view had been cancelled. 5. By the way, any of the available numbers on the apartment website as well as the customer service manager Helen's number end up going to the same person (only one employee in their company?) All in all, if you want to have a hard time renting a house, please choose Forge Yards without hesitation :-)

    Andrea (the building manager) is wonderful. Whenever I had a problem, she was always super responsive and helpful. The apartment itself is brand new. There was a few teething issuing when the building was first built and Andrea helped me sort everything out with a smile. She has excellent customer service skills and my dog lady and I will really miss her and forge yards. It’s a great apartment complex for London commuters and for pet owners. It had everything I needed and has a great community of renters. I’ve made friends for life. I left my apartment in January and have been meaning to write this for months. Muchas gracias Andrea!!

    Poor customer service. Called to book an appointment. It was confirmed via email for today. Called today to check if the appointment was still happening and was told I was not on the list. Furthermore was told that there were no apartments left. They could not even bother to call me to cancel an appointment since they had let everything out last Friday. Poor communication, lack of professionalism or decent customer service. At least thanks to my own proactiveness, I saved a trip and some time. Careful witth Cortlands.

    Poor customer service and rude. Rang them through Rightmove to enquire about studio apartments. Whilst I was still talking, the guy on the phone just cut off on me. I then rang back thinking it may have been a mistake but as soon as I told him I rang a few minutes ago but got cut off he then cut off the phone again. Not contacting them again
