It was a perfect base for exploring the coast a short walk to the beach and the pubs and shops. The cottage was clean and had all equipment you could need. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.

Lovely cottage just a few steps from the beach. Visited as a family of seven. Both lounge and dining room comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped with both washing machine and dishwasher. Owner's folder gave us plenty of information of walks, places to see and where to eat. Enjoyed our stay very much and plan to come back next year.

This cottage is a gem of a place. We couldn't ask for a better host, and a more beautiful cottage. There's everything equipped to make your stay welcoming. Kristian and family are wonderful. We can't wait to return in the near future.

What a great cottage! Ideally located within walking distance of both the beach and shops but also a good base for exploring further afield. Very much home from home with everything you would expect plus some bonuses such as fibre broadband. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Whitestones. Paul, the owner was so helpful and really cared about ensuring we had everything we needed. There are lots of thoughtful touches like a homemade cake, bread, butter and milk; dog bowls and towel, children’s utensils, good quality highchair, extra mattress for the travel cot…the list goes on. The location is fantastic, a few minutes’ stroll to the lovely beach, as well as lots of shops nearby, including a bakery, Lidl, Tesco and fish and chip shops. The beds were comfortable, the shower was great and can honestly say we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again

Hi, if you're reading the reviews, then you're trying to decide if this is the cottage for you.......2 words - 'It is!' The cottage is actually 2 cottages knocked into 1 - so feels cosy yet spacious - even with 6 adults in our party, it never felt crowded. (Everyone has said how much they're looking forward to staying again.) It's perfectly placed - 100 yards to the beach, and moments away from pubs, shops, a fantastic butchers (I dream of Tubby's sausages!) and a really great bric a brac shop. If you don't feel like getting in the car, everything that you need for a wonderful holiday is within strolling distance. The attention to detail in the decor and welcoming touches is outstanding (Paul and Lesley have put a huge amount of thought into the cottage) and the message on the blackboard in the kitchen and the home made cake were lovely touches :-) .....vegan? No problem - Lesley asks about allergies/ preferences beforehand - and all her cakes are superb -the lemon drizzle cake we had, didn't make it to a plate - it was inhaled by everyone whilst standing up!! One bugbear that I have with holiday cottages is that the kitchen is often very poorly equipped - not so here. Le Creuset ovenware, more utensils than i have at home, and even baking equipment and parchment should you need yet more cake! Book it now!

Beautiful quaint cottage... the pics on the internet just don't do it justice. We stayed Mon~Friday was met by the owners paul and Lesley at the cottage and shown around with bread, butter milk and home made lemon drizzle cake . The cottage is beautifully decorated with a wonderful seaside theme it's homely and also cozy. Our 2 westies were also welcomed with complimentary dog biscuits . The cottage is 400 yards from the beach and the local pub is just at the bottom of the street . The cottage is really well equipped from a spare dog basket to high chairs , bicycles picnic rugs and cool bags to children's room with a cute little den and books and activities. Would deffinetly recommend this lovely 4 bedroom cottage a real little gem in caister on sea .

Perfect Cottage in an excellent location! If you are thinking of going somewhere very close to the beach, in a tastefully decorated 'home from home' with nearby shops and pubs all within a short walking distance, then please book this cottage. We were delighted with the information provided by the owners Paul and Lesley, very inclusive emails and texts beforehand so we knew exactly what to expect. You are welcomed with a personal hello message on the chalk board in the kitchen with some food essentials and a delicious home made lemon drizzle cake, all of which make you feel very much at home the minute you walk in. There is plenty of on street parking so it is easy to unpack the car right next to the cottage. The cottage is very nicely laid out, good size rooms and every utensil/crockery etc you would need for your stay with many thoughtful extras to use whilst you're there. The outside seating area gets lots of sun and the shed has buckets & spades, windbreak etc for the beach. Highly, highly recommend!
