Our second stay at Moonfleet, we love it . There is everything you need in the house ,Orla has thought of everything. The location is great for the beach, café, fish n chips ,pub and shop .
Yet another lovely stay at Moonfleet house, perfectly situated in Winterton right opposite the chippy, the tearooms and minutes walk to the pub and beach.We have never stayed in such a well equipped place as this, there is everything you could need and i mean everything. Excellent value for money for us six adults and two dogs and so very spacious. a lovely welcome pack on arrival, which is a lovely touch. Roll on next year for another visit.
Perfect accommodation for a group of friends spending a long weekend together last week. Ideally placed in the centre of the village to walk to the beach, dunes or countryside. Opposite local (well-stocked) supermarket, excellent fish & chip shop (pre-order online for 10% discount and lovely tea room/post office/newsagent. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, comfortable and quiet. Kitchen has everything you could possible think of and the wine fridge is a bonus. We sat outside in the secluded courtyard till late evening, which was lovely. Being able to bring the dogs was also an added bonus. Definitely recommend for a most enjoyable stay.
Our second visit to this beautiful house. It is so well equipped and was very clean, tidy and very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable with excellent quality bed linen and the rooms smelt gorgeous! Such a great place and so close to a fabulous beach ! Well placed in the village of Winterton, right across the road of a nice fish and chip shop, local pub is good, beach easy walking distance. The house itself is very well equipped, clean and very comfortable and relaxing. They have prepared it to be a true home from home, will book again.
Perfect place to stay for a family holiday with the dogs. The location is great in a lovely village with a good pub, a shop for essentials, a nice cafe literally across the road and the fantastic all year round dog friendly beach is 2 minutes away. Best to walk up the lane to the rear of the property to get to the beach. The property itself is fantastic. Clean with a modern kitchen and tastefully decorated rooms and the baths are amazing! There are 2 en-suites with baths and a main bathroom with a really good walk in shower. There's also a separate WC downstairs. There is a nice paved outdoor area with a table and chairs and a BBQ. The most impressive thing is there is everything you need, the hosts have thought of everything from handy tools and implements to books, toys and games. There are even doggy treats in jars. We'll definitely be recommending Moonfleet to our friends and if we stay in the area again, we'd definitely try to book it again. Superb!
Our break at Moonfleet House was perfect from start to end! The house is absolutely stunning with beautiful decor and finishing touches! The rooms are all perfect, from the cosy lounge with an open fire to the large bedrooms and roll top baths. The little touches when you arrive (which I won't spoil) made it extra special. Not only is the house beautiful, the location was fantastic... it was less than a 5 minute walk to the idealic sandy beach which at this time of year mean't hundreds of seals (and new pups) took refuge on the beach and within the sand dunes! A sight we have never experienced before. Most importantly however, the house is only a stumble from the lovely village pub which served proper homemade food!! We will definitely be back soon!! Lovely in every way. Beautiful place to stay. Roll mop baths are hugely difficult to get out of if you re old! My problem, no one else"s.
