Nice to take a boat out on the river but we had to wait for 40 minutes beyond our booked time, in a queue, but they still expect you back in the time slot, which is a little unreasonable. The diesel boat was very loud, so will probably find an electric one next time.

We had a weeks holiday on the Brinks Lullaby 2 recently and it was brilliant. Fantastic service from the Brinks team and the boat was perfect too. I was really impressed with the level of facilities onboard - the kitchen had everything we needed. We were lucky with the weather which helped but the boat was easy to drive too. Highly recommend.

This was the first time we had hired a boat for a week on the Broads. We had a fantastic time, the boat was just right and we enjoyed cruising and visiting all the little nooks and crannies of the Broads. We have booked to come back next year. The staff at Barnes Brinkcraft are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

Fantastic Holiday on Brinks Rhapsody 3 – Would Absolutely Book Again! We’ve just returned from a brilliant week on the Norfolk Broads, having hired a boat through Barnes Brinkcraft. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. Check-in was smooth and stress-free. The staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful. We had a minor issue where we needed to take our car to do a food shop before setting off, but the office would be closed by the time we returned. The team provided a simple and flexible solution without any fuss; a great start to our trip. The boat handover was also excellent. As we’ve been on boats before, the staff member tailored the handover to focus on the areas we wanted a refresher on but still checked our understanding of the key elements. Brinks Rhapsody 3 itself was lovely. It was very clean, and while there was some general wear and tear, it was nothing unexpected for a boat that’s clearly been well-used and well-loved over the years. The bathroom with the shower cubicle was outstanding, plenty of water pressure and lovely hot water. Just be sure to run the generator for a while beforehand or shower after your first stop of the day. The kitchen was a good size and had everything you could need, though a cover for the shallow sink would have added a bit of extra surface space. The hob worked well once we got used to the heat settings, and the oven was spotless. That said, we had to keep an eye on things as the thermostat may have been a bit off; not a major issue unless cooking something for a long time. A big highlight was the Wi-Fi – it worked flawlessly the entire holiday. We brought our Firestick along and had a solid connection throughout. On our last trip with a different boat, we had no usable Wi-Fi at all, so this was a very welcome upgrade. The bedrooms were all spacious with plenty of storage. The beds were a little on the firmer side, but I slept better than I have in a long time, every night was a great night’s sleep. Operating the boat was very easy, and the bow thrusters made mooring much less stressful. The hybrid engine was a fantastic feature; it made cruising the Broads peaceful and relaxing, and we’d definitely seek out another hybrid boat in the future. Would we stay on Brinks Rhapsody 3 again? Absolutely. We loved every second of it and are already thinking about our next trip!

Barnes Brinkcraft 8 seater boat was most definitely best value for money and comfort for our 3 hour river trip. The boat was by far the better one on the river compared to comparative boats from other companies. We stopped at a pub enroute for a drink and toilet break and enjoyed our relaxing morning/afternoon on the pretty stretches of water. We most definitely would come back and book an all day one next time so we could stop at one or two of the little villages. The chap who talked us through the basics/rules of the Broads was very lovely and helpful.

Hired the Brinklet day boat from these guys for 3hrs which was really good value at £80. Took up to 8 people and allowed dogs too. They were really informative, ran through how to drive the boat and gave us suggestions of where to go. A much better size boat compared to some other companies we saw on the river for a reasonable price.

Another amazing holiday courtesy of Barnes Brinkcraft. When we arrived, the boat was immaculate. We were given a 30 minute guide to using the boat by one of their staff. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and patient (especially with us non-boat people!) We got a loyalty hamper for being a return customer and the quality products in this were delicious. The boat was a dream to use over the week and we will be booking again for our 2023 holiday. If you love nature, want to explore the broads and get close up to Kingfishers and Herons, we highly recommend a boating holiday. And if you choose a boating holiday, choose it with Barnes Brinkcraft.

Fabulous mini break at Grebe house which sleeps 8. We collected our keys before 4pm on Friday and was given a run through how to operate the boat that we had. We were given a welcome pack with fresh coffee, tea, sugar and milk and biscuits. The little town is 5 minutes walk with great restaurants that deliver. Excellent service from the staff at Barnes Brinkcraft. Would definitely recommend
