Rented with Slinn residential since 2018 and only just moved. Throughout the tenancy Slinn were reasonable and fair, especially when it came to rent increases. They were also very fair during the end of tenancy inspection.
Slinn have been great, they are very relaxed and understanding and have always done everything they can to make us feel comfortable in the home. The maintenance was always organised and carried out promptly, communication was excellent and they were always super friendly. I cannot fault them!
Excellent Service from this family run estate agents. They helped us rent a lovely 3 bed property in New Duston. From start to finish the team were quick, efficient and customer focused. They took the time to understand what our requirements were and explained clearly to us the process. We viewed the property and was accepted. The office team kept us clearly informed of the timescales and paperwork that was required. The process was mainly completed online with a very efficient system. Any questions we raised were dealt with quickly and they always responded. The website is easy to use and you report any issues on that portal. This allowed you to quickly report things and get a quick response. All our queries were dealt with. We were actually waiting to move house and the exit process was clearly laid out to us. We worked with the team to complete the necessary paperwork and give adequate notice. Once we had left the transfer process of utilities was managed adeptly by them. All round an excellent experience and we do not hesitate to recommend this excellent company. Having rented before and been landlords this company is at the top of their game.
Glasgow street 70 I rented a property through Slinn Residential for over 2.5 years. When I moved in, the house was in poor condition and required improvements, which I later left in much better condition than I found it. I always paid my rent on time and never had arrears, yet when moving out I was met with unfair deductions from my deposit for things that clearly fall under normal wear and tear. The agency tried to charge me for painting and garden maintenance, even though the property was returned in a good state. What is worse, I invested in window blinds from my own money, and now I am being denied their return. In my opinion, this agency does not treat tenants fairly. Be very careful before renting with them – always document everything, take photos, and know your rights. Give me your private questions, I'll let you know about this street and this house! A great rental agent who helped secure a property and without any issues. They responded quickly to questions and kept us informed at each step. A friendly and knowledgeable team who deliver a very professional service.
Stay away from them. They are managing my Neighbor's property and rented it out to the worst tenant possible without doing their due diligence. Property is turning into a party hub and poor owner doesn’t even know this. After repeated complaints about the tenant no firm action was taken by Slinn, I will be contacting the the owners directly to let them know.
I have experience with many lettings agents, but Slinn Residential are one of the best. They have great attitude towards the tenants, react quickly if any problems, always willing to answer any questions and help. Great experience so far and really professional.
