We visited this private pool for the first time and were warmly welcomed by what seemed to be the owner. The atmosphere was cosy, clean, and very pleasant. We really enjoyed our time there and will definitely come back.

I have been here with my non speaking autistic great nephew recently and had no issues at all. Greeted by the owner, shown around and when we left asked if we had had a nice time. We had a great time knowing we could supervise him without any other distractions you get with a public pool. We have booked to go again.

With great disappointment, I really would not recommend this pool and am absolutely disgusted at how rude, disrespectful and discriminatory the owner is!!! As most parents find, it’s a struggle to find things to do throughout the summer holidays!! It’s even harder when you have a child with additional needs that cannot cope in crowded environments.. so we were so happy to find this little pool close to home and affordable for me especially considering I need another adult with me to manage him. So, I booked every Saturday, just an hour, so my son had just one outing with me every week this summer.. So the first week the rude women complained as we had arrived 5 minutes early.. sorry… wasn’t sure on traffic and how long it would take me… My son has complex needs so he can appear to others as naughty.. but I must say our few trips swimming he has presented with outstanding good behaviour. No melt downs, he’s got changed and left the pool when instructed with no issues what so ever. He has sensory needs so when excited he bangs his head and sometimes this can be on my shoulder back etc.. So today, we arrived a little late… bearing in mind the rules of the booking is you arrive and leave within your booked hour… The previous booking was still there leaving in their cars.. as it turned out it was someone we know who provides a service to disabled children which includes my son. So my son got a little over excited and headed to the pool head butting my shoulder. No problem this is normal. Wasn’t doing anything extreme. He see a chair someone had left out and decided he wanted to sit but the 2 staff I had with me guided him to the pool.. no issue.. no meltdown, nothing extreme.. My son didn’t want to stay his full time today and decided to get out early. No problem… he was a bit tired.. As we got in the car the rude and disgraceful women said in future I’m not to get my son out of the car whilst other customers are there…. Bearing in mind I had paid for the hour and this was in my paid time. She also said I was to ensure 3 adults attend with my son? Why? He hasn’t done any thing wrong. (The previous week it was 2 adults with him) nothing had happened to warrant that statement. When I explained he doesn’t need 3 adults he is 2:1 therefore can be managed with 2 and I can’t always ensure there are 3 adults I explained the staff I have with me be it 1 or 2 are trained to manage him if he struggle (which he hadn’t) so she asked me to provide his risk assessment.. erm no.. that’s personal and is only provided to professionals having direct contact with my son.. who does she think she is.. So Thankyou for pushing my child back into isolation.. and please send the rest of my refund it’s only half been sent.. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Disgusting!!!

To so openly and publicly discriminate against and cause such harm and distress to a mother and her disabled child is inexcusable! ignorance is not an excuse to break the law. As a company and a business you should be appalled with yourselves. please educate yourselves on the law and what these families live everyday without small minded people and businesses like yourselves making it harder. the whole point of booking private sessions is so families like this are not isolated and forced to missout on meeting sensory needs and enjoying the holidays like any other child!!!!

It is nice that the pool belongs to us when it is rented. But the style of the owner is a bit harsh and not polite.
