Tiny theatre with a friendly vibe. Cheap drinks.

Aaahhh, such a great little venue with some fab loyal friends and for good reason. Was invited to a Spoken word evening which was remarkable. Place was packed, all tickets sold. Reminds me of the old jazz venues of days gone by. Small bar and performance room and a sense of closeness and cameraderie while waiting for the Artist to start. Small venues like these should be supported religiously as they're way better than watching TV. Support Live, it's where we all began.

What a cracking little playhouse! Firstly, ignore those 1* reviews that are clearly written by someone with a personal agenda. The bar is very well stocked and very reasonable prices. A lovely personal service from the staff and they obviously take pride in the place as it's clean, fresh and very well fitted out, including the toilets. The production I saw was of a high quality and being a small playhouse we felt properly involved with the characters and story. I have also popped in for a coffee, which again was high quality and well priced. I look forward to returning to Bonkers Playhouse, you should visit.

Great little theatre, incredibly good value bar and tickets (despite what others have said) for quality productions, the play I saw featured a very talented cast and crew. The stage itself is intimate with the audience and makes clever use of the building. I’d highly recommend visiting, especially if you appreciate quality theatre that tests its audiences and at bargain prices too.

Wow what can I say! From seeing the building 3 years ago to seeing how much the owners have transformed the building into a fully working theatre, they deserve the utmost respect! This place is exactly what Kettering needed. A small intimate venue for small scale plays and musicals, a welcoming atmosphere and a fully professional set up. From the outside the building doesn't look like much... but inside a lovely intimate venue for everyone to enjoy. Would totally recommend coming to see various productions here. Not a West End theatre... but honestly are you expecting it to be?

Lovely little 40 seat theatre, great for more intimate performances. Owners have avoided trying to cram as many seats as possible in, and instead created a lovely bar and coffee area, well-stocked, and very well priced! I saw their first show, and it was first rate! Very much looking forward to many more visits! Recommend you give it a try!
