Went here with school to watch the panto, which was a really fun experience for the kids. Staff were lovely : at one point one of the children was struggling with the noise and a staff member noticed so she gave him some ear defenders, which I thought was really lovely. Overall a great experience and I'm sure we'll return for panto season next year!

The 'that'll be Christmas' performance was not good. Music good for some, but we could not recognise the majority of the songs. And in the acts that were supposedly 'comedy' were terrible. Would never go again, even left at the intermission after 1 and a half hours.

Our 4th year of watching the pantomime and this was the best yet. The car park out front is not very big so we always arrive early and not enough disabled spaces. Payment for parking is now in a nearer machine and doesn't involve a token as it did last year but, it was expensive. £6.80 for about 3.5 hours. Once inside it was clean and warm and there was a good atmosphere. Our group of 9 found a table and chairs and had some refreshments as we had plenty of time. The lady i spoke to in the box office was very nice and helpful. We went in about 20 mins before the star of the show and easily found our seats. Everyone was excited for it to start. I've never watched Dick Whittington before so it was great to see the tale unfold. Loved that two celebs were in it and that Aidan was there for his 11 th year. It wouldn't be the same without him. The cast were excellent, the costumes and sets very good and the script and songs brilliant. Everyone seemed to be having a great time and were singing, clapping and joining in. Thoroughly enjoyed it all and will be going next year. It was a bit chilly inside so take something warm.

A very convenient venue for events. There is a nice bar with reasonably priced drinks and clean toilets. The staff at the ticket office and the bar are very friendly and helpful. I was also pleased to have a sufficient number of parking spaces nearby. It's always nice to come back here.

Great theatre, lots of leg room which is a real bonus! Not sure there's a bad seat to be had- no restricted views. Coffee shop on entry, a bar and a small area for sodas and ice cream near the rear entry door. Really enjoying every visit.

This is my favourite local theatre. There is no bad seat in the house, and tickets are very reasonable comparatively to most places. Not only that but they do the BEST panto every year. It's on our not-to-be-missed annual calendar. We look forward to seeing the same hilarious cast every year - the jokes are brilliant, the music, songs and dancing are contemporary and I always leave with face ache from laughing so much. Keep up the good work, all!

Went last night to the panto. It was brill. My jaws ached from laughing so much. It was lovely to see people of all ages enjoying this good old fashioned humour. All staff were welcoming, chatty and friendly. Loos were clean and tidy. Lots of props dotted around to take photos on.

We thought we were going to be in the proper theatre but were in the sports hall. The seats were tiny and really, really uncomfortable. It was boiling hot, left dripping in sweat. There were only 4 or 5 toilets which were part of the changing rooms. It was grim. Maybe the actual theatre is better, I don't know but I won't be going back to see!

Saw a 60's concert here. Cost £40 to see Chesney Hawkes lead The Tremeloes and Gary Puckett as well as others listed below. An excellent night.
