   Lovely Hotel, about a 50 yards walk from the slopes at the end of the day and a 5 minute walk to the lift in the morning. Hotel staff always very friendly, even acknowledging me when they were away from the hotel, in town. Spacious rooms, with good facilities. Friendly bar in the hotel, but due to the vibrant Apres ski in Ischgl, I never ate in the hotel in the evening.

   Great resort & wonderful skiing - well, for three days before the strong winds closed the resort for the last three days! Trouble with the top link to Zermatt before that. [Think carefully whether you want to pay for the expensive full area pass!] Couldn't get a refund on the lift passes. Vouchers, only, were offered! (Great for the locals but ...). We took them just in case we come back but a lot of money wasted there. Hotel Serenella was basic but good and very handy for the ski shop and the first lift (Cretez). Recommend the bar Yeti! Very close also. The Dragon, close by, also good. Hotel food was good and the staff were very friendly. Only gripes - no kettles in the room (not allowed!) But, hot drinks could be obtained. Also, due to some regulation(?), top temperature was kept at a max of 19 degrees. Not as cosy as you'd like if you came in cold and the heating was off! Ski reps, Oana & Sorin, were brilliant.
