Honestly if you ever have any gold item's he is the place to go ! Do not go to cash converters or cash generators.. instead go to Jhon at longs! We've been dealing with him for 6 year's now. The first time we went to him we had checked out cash converters first and Honestly jhon gave us a much better price. He's friendly & helpful & knowledgeable on antique item's and jewlery. On buy back or on selling and buying he's much better value then other places and there is occasionally free parking spaces available outside his shop too. He's open weekdays from 10am-3pm & shut on weekends but if he's not in one day be sure to return the next day as he might very well be there ! It's like walking into a mini museum, there's lots of different things from the macabre to historical, i bought a replica Viking broad sword, it needed a bit of tlc to bring it back to life but i did that in a day, at the price i paid for it i got a very good buy, the owner was friendly, polite, and didn't push for a sale, i had no hesitation in paying his asking price. Don't walk past this gem of a shop, walk in and look around, you will be glad you did.

Proper traditional jewellers and well established Chris has been on Magdalen Street for longer than I care to remember 20 years plus ! Always a good range of new & second hand gold with some nice heavy pieces not easy to find these days. Helpful and knowledgeable well worth a look.
Chris offers the best prices for your items,& there are some really interesting items in store. Also he will tend to give you information on items that your not sure off. He is also very good with customers and always gives you the time of day for a chat. Highly recommend this store. Better than cash converters etc for your gold and other old and valuable items.
