If my memory serves me correctly, this used to be where Olney Royal British Legion met. I don't know if it was a RBL club or a Working Man's club but it has several function rooms and is now a private members club. I was there during the Olney Dickins Christmas event. Well worth a visit and very well supported.
Went to our granddaughters 30th birthday party, atmosphere was good, staff very friendly and the food they provided was great quality
Sunday carvery is excellent value, lovely roast potatoes and Yorkshires. The meat is very good and much better than your typical carvery and generous portions too. We’ve been going for years it’s always busy so booking is required.
Hired out The Carlton House Club for an evening reception following a church wedding (next door), and the lead-up, and service on the day was amazing! We couldn't and can't fault Josh, Jo and the team. We opted for the carvery option, and had our wedding cake for our pudding option. My son had his 50th birthday party here and it was very good think they could have done with a few more bar staff but on the whole it was very nice.
Music and friends 3rd Sat of month £7 entry, large dance hall with a large dance floor good service at the bar the best place for a night out.
Members only club but does do the odd night for non members. Membership not expensive but you do have to be nominated by someone. Very reasonably priced drinks. Staff lovely and welcoming. Fab atmosphere and we'll presented building.
Great beer. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Also has sky sports if you are a sports fan. Especially if you are a football fan. Only draw back is that you have to be a member most of the time to enjoy it as it is a workingmen's club. Also have a large function room and often host music and other entertainment.
