I was at a 21st birthday party on the 7th October 2023 and the bar staff in the function room were VERY rude to us young adults. We got spoken to with absolutely NO respect. I will not be recommending this place for any function and will not be returning.
The owner was very rude last night, my relatives party was stopped without proper reason, all guests kicked out! The lady who selling drinks change prices, no fixed price for alcohol! I bought three cocktails and paid three different prices! Disappointed! Added- unfortunately your email doesn’t work. Updated- email sent , customer service on low level! Highly recommend avoid to rent this place for a party etc.
I had a christening here on Sunday they decorated the place beautifully. The staff members where incredibly helpful and met all our needs! The drinks are a perfect price. I would definitely recommend this venue! Thankyou again.
Would be minus 5 stars as The people that run this bar are so abnoxious and rude it is unbelievable. My brother held a wedding partly here 15/10/2022, he’s popped down to his car later in the night for a can of redbull to pick himself up as he was feeling tiered only to be told on return by this absolute horrendously rude lady that runs the place that the party is off because guest where seen on CCTV getting there drinks from 3 cars in the car park. We only had one car with us. By brother earns £50k a year so has no need to get alcohol from anywhere. They wouldn’t let us see the CCTV and there own bar staff said nothing could be seen on this CCTV. We offered for them to go search the car to show there was no alcohol in the car but she was not interested. This Nasty lady started screaming and shouting and overreacting like you wouldn’t believe. She then called the police to completely ruin the night. The police even said it was a common thing for this venue. Nearly £1000 was spent on this party including food. The committee running this place really need to listen to all these negative reviews from their own costumers as so many people are saying the the same thing. Even their own bar staff. So many special events have been ruined by the nasty couple running this place. We have heard so many people saying exactly the same thing happened to them. There was only one bar staff for this size room is absolutely ridiculous as well. Hardly anybody at the bar down stairs on a Saturday night as well just shows how bad a job the people running this place really are. We spoke to many people after about this place and everyone was saying the same thing. Go look at the people running this place especially the women, you will realise instantly how bad her manners are. So avoid this place like the plague as you don’t want the same thing that has happened to so many to happen to you on your special night. Don’t risk it.
Had party for my daughter’s 21st. It was a lovely party. They couldn’t be more helpful. They even done the balloon hoop for us. There is a sweetie cart there which they allowed us to use free of charge. Which was great to display cakes on. I would throughly recommend and will be using again in the future.
Our wedding was way overdue and the day was fantastic , the venue is very big, lovely decorated and very cheap to hire , drinks were cheap (we had a table set up and was easily enough ) picked our stuff up over the next 2 days without a problem . Highly recommended for any event .
Had party couple weeks ago and amazing it was. Staff went out there way for me. Even helped me decorate which was amazing. All I can say is thank you so much we will be back
We had a party there at the start of the month, upon set up the room was filthy, there was glass on the floor which I swept myself, the dance floor was sticky with spilt drink from whoever was there before, and not cleaned! One member of staff was quite rude, the customer service level was probably at a 1 I’d say. The bar man did his best as he didn’t usually work there, but there was no pumps working when the bar opened! Just overall towards the end of the night it felt like the party had a cloud over it, and it was suppose to be a lovely time for family and friends! I definitely wouldn’t recommend having a party there!
