I've been here twice now. I love the cosiness of this little restaurant and the smell when you walk in is lovely. Ive been fortunate to get a table each time I've walked in. Being on my own each time. The decor and feel of the place is really pleasant. The food is gorgeous and looks great. One waitress and the chef. Sometimes you do have to wait a while to get service and the service is good. I highly recommend going here.

Came here for lunch and I was completely blown away! Situated outside of the main town, this gem of a place was a really great find. Quality of ingredients was superb, especially the salmon. Prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend the peking duck roll, eel unagi & salmon nagiri. The menu has a ton of items so be prepared to be overwhelmed at first! There’s something for everyone. Server was really nice and attentive during our visit. 10/10

Good Japanese restaurant with very friendly staff. A bit disappointed with their tempura. The batter was not the usual Japanese breadcrumbs I normally see in Japanese restaurants. It was more like just normal flour and egg. However, the rest of the food was tasty and prices were more reasonable than the bigger Japanese restaurant across the road. I would go back but maybe skip the tempura.

Such a wonderful evening here! A real newly opened hidden gem. The lady serving us was attentive but not over bearing, coming from a 5* hospitality background myself I honestly couldn't fault a single moment of service from her. Now the food, by god the food was outstanding! Beautifully presented, superb portion sizes, incredible flavours. We both commented on how we loved the slightly thicker cut sashimi and how the chef didnt skimp out in filling the sushi rolls to perfection. Price wise was just right I believe, we had a starter each, around 5 dishes split between us and a bottle of sake totalling around £140 for two of us. Cannot wait to come back here again soon!

Top tasty Japanese food on the River Itchenor. Sushi is hand prepared to order. Staff charming and delightful. Restaurant is unlicensed, so bring your own bottle of wine from Aldi or a pint from the delightful pub across the road. The restaurant is tiny only 20 covers or so - please do not tell your friends

We’ve been planning on trying the sushi taco for a while and it absolutely blown our mind. Not to mention the rest, the freshness of each dishes, the flavours were distinctive, smooth and clean. The place is run by a talented chef and his friendly and caring wife. The waiter was attentive and helpful. Definitely going back soon since there is so much more to try.

Had dinner with my family on a Sunday night. The sushi and donburi were delicious and the service was exceptional. Especially thankful to the waitress who handed us a glass of water after hearing my younger daughter coughing, even we didn't ask for it. Their hospitality was very much appreciated.
