The best birthday meal for my friend! Staff catered excellently to our large group & the food and drinks were delicious. Staff helped us surprise the birthday girl with a cake and cut it up for us, aswell as decorating the table on arrival :) Thank you for a brilliant meal and excellent hospitality!
Fabulous Experience! We booked a table for 11 online for a leaving do, and everything was perfect! The team went above and beyond, they even decorated our table, which was such an amazing and unexpected touch. The staff were so helpful, the food was great, and we got some brilliant savings too. Couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended!
Decided to visit Pizza Express as a last minute decision. It was mid week and quiet. Served by Giuseppe (manager and lovely chap) and then Tom who had a warm and friendly manner too. Pizzas were nice and also used my Tastecard to get some money off.
I love going to Pizza Express in Loughborough. I find the food to be delicious and flavoursome, great mixture of options of. Salads, pizzas and pasta dishes. Plus desserts. The restaurant itself is clean and spacious with the added bonus of the outdoor eating area which is a lovely suntrap. I've been coming on a regular basis for several years now and it's always been consistently very good. The thing that surprises me most is that although part of a chain this branch does in no way shape or form feel generic , it feels like an independent restaurant where the interest in customers feels individual and bespoke. This is obviously informed by the environment created by the team who work there. Big shout out to people who have served me the last couple of times I have been so thanks too Daniella, Alice, Ellie, Helen, Esbat and the lovely Patryk. Happy 60 th Anniversary Pizza Express !
On a bustling Saturday night, despite the crowd, Pizza Express managed to accommodate me and my two children, which was greatly appreciated. The food undoubtedly lived up to its reputation—fresh, flavorful, and truly delicious. However, the wait time for our meals stretched beyond 40 minutes, which, with hungry kids in tow, was less than ideal. The service staff were friendly and attentive, although I did find myself needing to inquire twice about the status of our order. Despite this, their positive attitude and willingness to assist were commendable. However, minimizing wait times, especially during peak hours, would significantly enhance the overall dining experience for families and larger. With a slight improvement in promptness, especially during busy periods, it would undoubtedly elevate the dining experience, particularly for families with children.
Liv was amazing. She remembered us and what we ordered from our previous visit and she made us feel welcome. I am absolutely pleased with her kind service second time now. I highly recommend.
Every time I’m in the UK I find time to hit a pizza express. Love this location and the service was excellent. Pizza and dough balls were amazing as always, and the prices very reasonable. My daughter loved her dessert and I always look forward to my next visit.
Went away feeling underwealmed. We ordered two salads and a pizza. I noticed a table across from us sent a pizza back, rejecting it because it was overcooked. When our order arrived the pizza was burnt, black around the outside, hard and simply inedible. It wasn't a tad overcooked, it was burnt. I sent it back and the replacement was much better. Serving up obviously burnt food is just not on. This is disappointing for somewhere purporting to be a pizza specialist restaurant.
Family birthday lunch for my 4 year old son in August. Spoke to Natalie, the manager before hand to book and she created the perfect set up. Natalie and her team really went above and beyond. My son was the happiest boy and we are so grateful to her. Food and drinks were excellent! Fantastic experience! Thank you Natalie and co!
