Complete jobs worth behind the till, and the manager. Thought my 36 year old partner looked under 25 buying a bottle of wine. I suppose we should be flattered, but it's never happened before. They flat out refused to sell it so the Co op got our custom instead (and it was £1 cheaper in the co op!).

Always good for when you need to just nip in and out for a couple of bits. The shelves are always well stocked and the staff are very nice.

Incredibly helpful till operator (12.45 Sun 12/02), a great asset to Tesco in Allestree.
Handy for local shopping and good opening hours ( open daily from 7am to 11pm ) where you can really find everything we need in our lives, free cash machine, The National Lottery, EVRI Parcels Shop ( ex Hermes ), top-up point, instore bakery, good range at the best quality of fresh vegetables, items for general household use, alcoholic beverages, wine, spirits, soft drinks and chilled goods for sale and even more than we could imagine and the staff are very friendly and helpful especially Mike ☺️
Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The store layout is easy to navigate, and the special offers advertised are clearly visible. The store is exceptionally clean and they follow the correct covid regulations. Self service tills are kept disinfected, and there is always a member of staff available near by to help. It's wheelchair accessible, although some important items are too high to get.
Always found this to be a pleasant local store. The only gripe is at times it appears understaffed. However, staff members who are there always seems polite and willing to serve you. I think they've managed the restrictions re pandemic well, and this does not appear to have had too much of. negative impact on the service that they provide.
